Tightened grip problem.
Hi guys, I just bought my first talon SS, and I had it shipped with the grip unattached now after screwing it back on if it goes too tight then the trigger sticks. I’m also not sure the arrangement of the nuts that go with the screw because I never saw it attached. So I have a simple question how do you attach the grip properly? Thanks guys.

I cannot see how the slot could be binding enough to not allow movement at all, so this is my guess.
–edit– and I did not see that Moneyshot said the exact same thing. Doh!

Thanks guys, managed to get it all after some fine tuning. The gurad needed some readjusting.
It sounds like you have the trigger parts out of sorts. Be sure the 3 metal peices of the trigger are in the correct orientation with each other before you bolt the cover plate back down.

Look at the bar the trigger sticks through on the bottom of the rail. Move it forward or backward to give you clearance.
now that i think of it, instead of tappin it back, double check the alignment first, and if need be, maybe dremel the trigger slot a little longer.it sounds a little extreme to not move at all, though. are you sure all 3 trigger bars are properly aligned? if the trigger and intermediate bar arent properly aligned, this could happen too. if in doubt, check quick reference. plenty of illustration there…
There is no travel at all, the trigger seems to be getting squeezed too much by the guard. Thanks, I’ll try that.
stick how? are you not getting enough travel, by chance? the cover bar for the trigger group may need tapped backward a hair with a non metallic hammer…
