Q:

Wok, I love it how SteveCT locks up a discussion

We all know that you stand behind your parts… you make good Stuff…Damn Good STUFF!!!!…So do a few other guys on this forum. Anybody worth their salt who makes a product will stand behind it, It doesn’t have to be written somewhere. What a bunch of Choads on the Yellow. I love how SteveCT just locks up a thread when ever he feels like it 😕

Fuck that FRAIL ASS HDD Crap.

Mine broke or shall i say CHIPPED while i was gently pushing it into the rear of my Crosmods receiver exactly the way the instruction say to do. What a FRAIL POS that HDD is.

To be honest, its an easy fucking 20 bucks for steve and AOA. No warranty by either party for an item that’s as tender as egg shells. its a rip off. But that’s just me.

That thing is fucking fragile….DID I MENTION THAT?

Thanks Guys.

SteveCT just wants to keep any fighting off of his forum. I understand that. He know SteveNC will makes hundreds of post so he locked it to keep it from filling up his forum. Thats his choice.

I told CT that NC is actually dealer bashing AOA by claiming it is their fault there is no warranty. That is a load of lies and bullshit. A store is not obligated to offer any warranty for a product. The manufacture is the one that supplies a warranty for their product….not the store.

If a manufacture can collect your money and have ZERO risk of their product failing then they will use the cheapest material and methods of manufacture because once they have your money they do not care if it fails because they are not going to replace it or repair it.

As far as myself and what I make, I deal with my customers one on one. They have my email and I always return any inquiry and question and stand behind what I make.

If you buy one of the HDD, Trigger or regulator and they fail because of manufacture defect you are shit out of luck. Materials can be faulty, manufacture process can screw up sometimes….but that does not matter you the customer eats $hit and is out the part and the money. It is your fault for buying it and you are a sucker.

People should stop worrying about saving a little bit of air, because it really is only going to cost them $$ when if breaks and you did not save anything.

I’m sure SteveinNC has to make sure that the HDD was installed properly. I wonder how many incorrect installations he’s being hit with as warranty problems. That said, he’s not real quick to offer any help or support to the guy in question either. Support from anyone you buy from is as important as the warranty.

I’m more inclined to evaluate a guys reputation on other people’s posts I read about him than the posted warranty on his site.

My experience with AOA has been marginal at best. Slow delivery, no info on the status of orders, mix-ups like when I ordered two cans of .22 pellets and got one can of .22 and another of .177 etc. Or my P-rod that they told me was still on backorder then shows up at my house two days later.

Steve’s only defense is that Adam doesn’t mention a warranty…. ?!? really…

Thing he misses is that Adam doesn’t explicitly say he doesn’t… But he persists with that angle even after Adam says he does in public making his entire point then moot not that it had much standing to begin with (Adam has said before about the warranty too iirc).

Maybe it’s because Adam doesn’t make cheap pieces of shit and have people complaining so doesn’t need an explicit disclaimer like some. Oh wait, I mean, maybe its because Adam doesn’t sub out to the cheapest bidder who then make cheap pieces of shit.

I’ve ordered Steve’s parts and found them sub standard (and made a post to that effect on the Yellow).

Even more so when Steve “The Rat” in NC refers the poor sucker who bought his parts back to AOA after THEY refer the poor sucker to him. He lets his sidekick have the last word too, which was really weak at that, “The Rat” is a turd of the highest order.

I noticed recently that the editing out of the people on the owner’s shit list actually draws more attention to the post then if they were just let be. It’s inadvertent advertising for the guy who is out of favor really and it makes the owner look like a little kid who’s feelings got hurt and he holds a lifetime grudge.

What I can’t believe is Steve “The Rat” in NC is even allowed to be mentioned on the forum after the shit he sells and then pretends like he never even made it or the customer intentionally destroyed it so he doesn’t have to stand by his product… And AOA is so low they actually carry that shit to make a buck… I have never bought from AOA and never will.

I make custom items for recovering targets while metal detecting and I would never use the customer’s actions against them to side step repair or replacement. If I didn’t think it would hold up to all kinds of abuse I wouldn’t allow it out the door nor would I produce it because it wouldn’t be worth buying… I even design in things to allow parts to be replaced if ever broken. But it takes a little extra time and cost on my end, but i’m not in it to make money, I like making things and enjoy making things people feel good using…

I’m still convinced that forum is there to protect some of the TBTF (too big to fail) air gun companies and ruin good deals for the little guy…
