liquid wrench dry lube or any other cerflon based dry lube is great, and i have been experimenting with a bike chain wax i use on my pellets(white lightning, similar to krytech, also contains cerflon). feels like qc in a bottle. other than that, id use dri-slide or any other moly powder burnished into the contact areas. i avoid graphite, as ive heard it is corrosive to aluminum, as well as using atmospheric moisture for lubricity.

I bet your hammer doesn’t need any lube. I was thinking about the plain brass or steel ones. Do you think a dry lube would work better then a petroleum based spray?

With my hammer just take and wipe a little oil on where it slides and your done. I use rem oil. I don’t think it matters with my hammer though.
