Properly sized 25 caliber lead balls and where to buy?
Is the proper sized lead ball for a 25 caliber .251 ?
Where can they be purchased.
I want to try shotgun patternning the Condor.

I have not shot any of the solid rounds in my .25, but I have shot plenty of them from the same Condor with the .22 size barrel… Just way to much rifling in the barrel for them to fly straight… I use the type “F” or size “F” in the buck shot for my .22 rifles, its like way cheaper and shoots the same crappy groups as the perfect solid rounds LOL… The buck shot is not nearly as perfectly round and size from one ball to the next in the same batch either… Not that any of this made a knats a$$ difference with mine LOL
What a guy needs is a barrel with a twist rate really slow for these. I love shooting the perfect rounds with an air rifle, I have an old Benj with the smooth bore that does pretty good, if you could just pump her up and get 900-1050 FPS doing so would be awesome LOL…
While the smooth bore does ok, from a visit with a barrel manufacture, what we need is a twist rate of like 1:38 or something close to that. Just hard to find in a air rifle barrel rifling profile…
So basically the 1:16 we can get is two times to fast LOL… Least its what I was told… I would love to be able to shoot perfect solid rounds at the speeds we could with the PCP’s and hit the POA. The black powder barrels have slow twist rates and shot the rounds really well, least the better made rifles do…
At the point I am at with my .25 Condor, I am thinking on more valve work and Jerry’s slugs, maybe his new slug will find the 1:16 twist in my 18″ barrel to be the ticket… I just know with the .25’s I have shot so far has been really good just over the 1000 FPS speeds and the diablo design projectiles…
You guys find a setup to shoot the solid rounds in the .25, I sure would like you guys to let me in on it PLZ!!!
Or you could purchase a 5 pack of 20 cal #3 buck and cut them open, 20 buckshot per shotshell, so 100 per box for about 5 bucks. I think Cabela’s has them at their store if one is near you
Like the other guy said…Hornady #3…in the reloading section if the store sells reloading stuff that is…
i forget who makes em, but look up perfect rounds, ive heard theyre a world more uniform than the pos gamo balls…
Hornady #3 buckshot. you can get it at your local gun shop. not absolutely sure of the dia., though. i think, ( this is what usually gets me in trouble ), it’s .251 or .252 .

boy, i tell ya, you guys are just begging to ruin decent barrels i would pay out the ass for. 1 mishap, and good luck using it again. why dont somebody get an old .410 blank and blod valve and do it right?
