It won’t fire

cock the bolt and release the safety, and waiting my target about 1 hour, and suddently small hog run in front of me, I pull the trigger, but there is only the sound of hammer hit the top hat and no air coming from the valve.

cock again and then it shot well.

does my spring is weak? or I was to long waiting?

which wrong?

Sometimes I put a dab of silicone on the valve stem to lube the oring in there that the stem rides on.

could have been cocked too long. next time load then uncock it till it’s time to shoot

That’s what exactly happen to me when I replace my talon valve with condor valve. First shot is just hammer and no air coming out, after that it’s all good again. I could be too much air I think also.

Or maybe time for a clean and lube, could be getting hammer
