gaylord and the talon p
well, just for shits n giggles, i read part 5 of gaylords review of the talon p on the PA blog. they really got this poor bastard jumping through hoops for them. he claims 4 of 5 shots went into .178″, the alleged best group hes ever shot with an airgun. does anyone else think that AF is doing everything they can to salvage the marketing fumble that is the talon p? 🙄

I’d like to see old Numbnutts do a side by side comparison between the TalonP and a Talon SS .25. The only real difference is less shots.

Well at least it looks like it can be folded under… I was beginning to wonder what the point of putting a long fixed buttstock on a rifle with a mini tank…
You would think this guy never shot a Condor or Talon with a 12″ 25 cal barrel before… 🙄 The whole thing is basically about the barrel…
Pretty much the only time he mentions the small tank is when he says he has to refill more often because of the small capacity…

But seeing the PA commercials on tv it’s no wonder their blog content is aimed manboys who’s IQ is typically smaller than the caliber they are shooting…

I think he is getting paid per ‘part’ so what used to be a two or three part writeup has been stretched into five parts.
If it’s supposed to get me interested it has actually done the opposite, he did the same thing for the Edge rifle and from my view doesn’t help AF sell anything to hold all the good information back for weeks on end.

Gaylord for years recommended using Crosman Pellube on PCP until I called him out for that dangerous practice
Gaylord claimed he could tell by how the gun sounded how fast it was going and did not need to use a chrono any more
Gaylord claimed people had faulty valves on their pumps and scuba tanks and there was nothing wrong with the Condors of year past. But of course there was a huge problem that required a new valve to eliminate the problem Gaylord claimed did not exist.
Gaylord recommend placing the end of the shoulder piece directly into the cervical nerve plexsus instead of actually shouldering the gun.
Gaylord declared a online person named “CondorMan” destroyed his gun from mods learned online when in fact there was no “Condor Man” and he has never been heard from again.
Gaylord is several years behind us here on the TAG when it comes to advancing these guns and how they function.
