Q:

Older Talon SS

I have an older TSS with the 2 screw mount for the barrel. Should it be tapped for the additional 2 screws? The obvious benefit is the stability of the barrel in the frame but is it necessary?

The two screw models never were modified by the users, so that tells me it isn’t going to help or improve anything. If it was a weakness, like their safety, someone would have come up with a mod for it long ago.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Geometrically speaking, when 2 circles (bushing circle and frame circle)meet they can only meet at 1 point, so I would say no.
