Q:

Hammerli Pneuma Elite Bullpup mod

I have purchased the used non-functional airsoft on eBay at $38.
The airsoft maker is Classic-Army.
http://www.classicarmy.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=152&Itemid=239&lang=en

I modified it for my AT44. This is very compact and easy to carry.
The length is 80cm and weight is 1kg less than the original.
This Bullpup is easiest modification ever I have made.

Procedure
a. Cut off the plastic top by razor saw.

b. Make Internal barrel mount (internal reservoir mount) from aluminum/wood / plastic.
(Steyr has the internal slot to receive mount plate, I used aluminum plate and added plastic blocks to receive reservoir.)
c. Make Top barrel mount (external reservoir mount) from aluminum/wood / plastic.
(I made it from aluminum, my friend made it from wood.)
d. Make trigger link-arm and trigger adapter from steel rod and brass.
(This is trigger linkage, it may be required some adjustment.)

e. Make covers from plastic.
I made the cover of Mag and bullet ducts.

f. Make scope mount.
I made multi-rail system from my junk rifle parts.

(Several sellers are selling Bullpup scope mount at yellow forum.)

Unclejack- seems you could make a bit of cash selling altered stocks even if only for a specific air rifle adaptation. I’d build one up if I had the skills and tools to make the proper cuts and linkages but I do not have said skills/tools. I’d spend less time and money just buying the real rifle than what it would take for me to create one of your masterpieces. Love seeing what you turn out. What’s next??

Glad to hear that, good luck for your DIY !

I’m building one! I’ve just got a Hammerli and found a junk stock. It does look cool.

Thanks, not only looks great, this mod was simply easy to build.

Thanks for the links and the additional information. That mod simply looks great.

Really innovative stuff there!

I received several similar private messages about cost and making related, I would like to reply here:
All my stock mods are besed on used stocks, in order to reduce the total cost. I built 8 units of AUG stock mod for PCPs for my people (friends and hunting members).
Please refer to my previous post:

First of all, you need get used or brand new Airsoft or real Steyr AUG stock because I am not seller of airsoft and I do not have.

Second you have tools: drill, coping saw, razor-saw, files, sand papers, vice (vise), pliers, disk sander. (nothing expensive power tools)

Third, you need misc. material: screws, aluminum (wood/plastic plates/blocks), steel-rod, brass-rod, Hex spacers (for adjusting area), epoxy glue, paint.

Last, you need weaver/dove tail adapter for cheek rest and multi-rail for scope mount, the cost was around US$50 (you may check China sellers for lower price.).

My people brought in AUG stock at around US$30 – $45 (the lowest guy who bought at garage sales), so your total cost will be AUG stock (say $40 + $50 plus tools and misc (if any).

If you like brand new stock, HongKong sellers are lower price range from US$150 – $250. But if you do not mind used airsoft stock, you may check internet auction or local airsoft stotes and garage sales.

If you want to use craftsmen or machining shop, your total cost will be increased dramatically, unlike McDonald student workers, skilled worker’s laver fee is high around $60 – $80 per hour. No wander, so many people are doing same or similar DIY projects without using craftsmen or machine shops, and you can provide useful power tools instead.

So I highly recommend you built it by yourself. All necessary info are posted, good luck !

The below info may help your DIY:
1. Only Steyr Arms is selling Bullpup conversion kit (for M16/AR15) which is AUG. Meaning is easy or easier to conver for PCP too.
http://www.steyrarms.com/store/index.php/spare-stocks.html
Example, the below seller is selling brand new real Steyr AUG bullpup conversion stock at US$199 for M16 rifle.

2. Most high-end airsoft is almost or exact copy by size, internal structure. The meaning is good enough to use for PCP.
No wander, some of airsoft is higher price than PCP.
3. I like stylish design that is not available by using wood material.
Must be syntheric polymer or aluminum type material by mechanical strength with light weight and sophisticated design capability.
All wooden Bullpup stock are similar design to me, and I do not get the reason why so many people make EDgun copies.

You are too kind.
Curerntly, I am working to bild air stripper integrated type shroud, just like latest EDgun. The below is the typical air stripper, to increase accuracy and grouping.

The is the air stripper integrated shroud moderator from Russian forum:

Positively revolutionary.

Very impressed with the conversions you’ve made.

Phenomenally Awesome!

I want.

That is simply beautiful work. You make it sound easy, but I know better! Congratulations. BTW, this post should be in the “Edguns & Bullpups” section.

I like it….. 😀 😀
