trust me, i did plenty of research regarding projectile wounds, and as long as it doesnt end up in a joint, it generally stays benign. you couldnt possibly understand how much i hate hospitals…

its a bit annoying, but i have a feeling that the procedure to remove it will be a lot more painful than just walking on the edge of my foot is…

Yes and installed! Thanks Rowdy! Right now sans Orings. I am going to Try some of those hard plastic orings and see if they work to slide the barrel in smoothly.

Dang dude isn’t that how you get lead poisoning?

Money, you’ve had a lead pellet working its way through your foot for a year? Why didn’t you have it removed?

That is what I am thinking also LOL… That has to be rough…

Hauntedmyst,

you get the bushing on Friday??? Certainly hope anyway

Oh man, a 177 ej and thru the steel toe before it hit the foot—- Now that sucker had to hurt… You have that happen on CO2!!! That means my .25 Condor with a kodiac, well we want have to worry about waiting on it to work its way out will we LOL…

Thats scarry bad, how swelled up and infected is this foot???

not bad now unless im walking barefoot on hard surfaces, or the pellet shifts, it gets bothersome. for the first 2 months it was agony. to boot i clean windows for a living, climbing ladders was a bitch. now its a big lump on the bottom of my foot. i got REALLY lucky that it missed the bone of my fourth toe (may have skimmed it, not sure), or it may not be there now… 😯

you aint fukkin kidding, i put a hole thru my steel toe and that 177 ej is just now, a year later, workin out the bottom of my foot. that was with co2 to boot! its like getting hulk to smack your foot wit a tack hammer…

Yes the trigger assembly as a whole is a little soft and weak, not to mention doesn’t work so hot either… Least IMO

I had three pieces of the trigger fail on my Condor in the very beginning of my rifle… Tried to get AF to send the parts out and they wouldn’t… This was way before AF started to sale stuff to the public…

At any rate I cut all my trigger components from 400 series stainless and then flamed them even harder… It still works as the design AF used… We need a major design change…

I have been wanting to use the MK IV trigger assembly from the Rapid, I have actually bought an extra trigger assembly from Theoben to make use of it on my Condor…

Down the road if things ever get back to more of a norm around here, I plan to put my Condor under the knife again LOL… That or maybe I will cut another frame and leave my Condor as is for now LOL… Just know we need a much better design…

I have honed my trigger parts to where I have an over travel stop, that is a must have if you ask me… Without the over travel stop, really getting serious on paper with a rifle like this, I just blow my groups all over LOL…

I just thought of some other trigger parts I have that could be used also, I have many sets of OEM Ruger 10/22 triggers I replaced with improved stuff, the old parts would be good for parts maybe…

It will be a great project with all the stuff I have here already and what ideas I have in my head… I removed the safety on my Condor, as it was never going to let the trigger stay adjusted and honed to a good tune…

I really think every rifle should have a good working safety. My new design on the trigger assembly will have a working safety also, or it will never get on my rifle LOL…

One thing for darn sure, you guys should watch those parts around the holes for the pins that hold them in the frame… Then also keep an eye on all those sharp edges of the parts as well… I have all my old parts and they are scary looking when you think about it being in the rifle with it cocked and loaded with a .25 kodiac that comes out the barrel 1000 fps

Sure would be bad to catch that round in the top of the foot while your walking and caring the condor barrel toward the ground… My trigger parts actually scarred me guys. I stopped shooting the Condor and started chewing out the trigger parts one at a time…

You guys make sure to inspect them from time to time…

didnt know he did an aftermarket spring? the only way it would is that the sear bar could bend under heavy preload, but id think that if you got a heavy spring, keep preload to a minimum and youll be fine.

by the way, i recently removed my sear for the first time, we desperately need stronger aftermarket ones…FLIMSY!!
