I’d like an Rapid too but I’d have to get the AZ tuned version and that’s 3K+ 😯

The Royale with power adjuster also has a regulator along with the power adjuster. Older models can be retro-fitted for something like $275. So if you wanted regulated, buy an older model with a smooth twist barrel and have it upgraded with a regulator if you want one. But my Royale shoots plenty well without a reg and I paid $1300 barely used with a synthetic stock. If I could find a used .25 Royale then I might consider sending that in for a regulator. Then I’d a regulated .25 with multi-shot capability.

If I was going to put down today, I’d get the Elite in a .25 cal. The single shot is fine for me cause I NEVER miss and I’ve been told that the Elite incorporates a newer design and construction for greater accuracy but haven’t seen anything to verify that other than the folks at AOA telling me so.

I wouldnt buy Jack Sh!T from AOa. I would get a 25 rapid from Allen Z.
Or pomona, or precision air. But just not Aoa.
I would get a multi shot though, unless adam comes out with his repeating breach from his guy he knows 😆

I have seen them.

AOA has had a used one on their used site for some time now also.

I see newer models have a power adjuster on them, I had a poweradjuster on the AA S410, I never had much use for it.

The Royale Elite seems interesting also. Having had a repeater, I foujnd I can get by with a single shot if the paypack is increased accuracy.

I see two people on the Yellow asking for single shot adapters for the 400.

There have been some really good deals on some of the Royale 400 lately on the Yellow. I think people want a new regulated Royale and that has dropped the price down a few hundred dollars on the non-regulated models. I have a Royale 400 with a Bushnell scope on it and it is light and easy to carry.

RC,

I don’t think you would regret the FX 400 or the Daystates or the Theoben. I like that 400 BTW, very light and great handling. The one i shot about 5 months ago was turned down to about 22 FPE in 22 and was a smooth as butter. All of your choices are good ones to me.

Or I could get a 58 upper and double the total FPE.

RC

Oh no RC is down to 805fpe total… 🙁

Could be worse, I have 34fpe combined, just over half of your lowest rifle’s output. 😆

I think you need an EdGun RC. 😉 😀

The AA S410 Carbine I got from Gary was a very accurate gun. There is a thread on the Yellow forum right now about the difference between the rifle and the carbine. The carbine is a heavy little gun, with not much power and so very fucking accurate, with a poor shot count.

I keep expecting to see some good deals after christmas or around tax time on a Royale.

I did see a guy who had a Royale 400 back east for $1000.00. He did not return my message after the frist exchange, I doubt it was legit.

I keep thinking I need a fx 500, but I have one real heavy hitter in 25 and a Royale 500 level Condor valved Talon.

Cedric says if I get a Rapid I will never regret it, but I look on the AOA used site and see there is a Royale 400 and a FX Trantula grade 3 for what I could get a Rapid for.

Right now it is looking like I will probably go for the FX400. One of the reasons is that I like to shoot feathered creatures out of the tops of Doug Fir trees, The 25 makes a far bigger welt when it hits the ground again, and it makes a much louder whap when it hits feathers, but both the 22 or the 25 seem to kill with solid hits.

Maw you will love the Ranger 45 or the 58, XPairguns really builds some nice guns.

I almost jumped on a 400 over on yellow, but I was thinking about the 58 or 72 and then quit buying the damn things, these guns are expensive, but addictive too. I like the looks of the Royale the best, another really cool is the AA 510 carbine. I would have to flip a coin between those 2, really neat stocks on both. If anyone says differant about the airgun addiction, they are just in denial or have not shot a good group yet. I am fasinated with the XP Airgun line and if I don’t get sidetracked, I’ll one day be the proud owner of one.

The Royale 200 in 25 looks interesting. I sent AOA a eamil asking if they have them in stock, no anser yet.

RC

Get the Royal. It is a bad ass gun. The Rapid is a bad ass gun as well but kinda like the way a 57 chevy is still awesome but dated.
