10b Walkin’ Gun; aka, "The Weatherby BB Gun"

Howdy, TAG! Been thru some stuff and finally got relocated from S. Texas to the rural Colorado mountains.

This is my only “real” air gun and I call it my Walkin’ Gun. I try to walk the property line many days if the ground isn’t too sloppy and this air rifle is my constant companion during these walks.

This area has a lot of wildlife including deer, bears and elk. Moreover, there are many rodents here such as rabbits, packrats and deer mice. These are so numerous here that residents are pretty much required to employ HD pest control such as many bait stations, pretty intense exclusion, tracking powder, etc. So I augment that pest control during walks. Unfortunately, all the poison in the area means that consuming the rabbits would be unwise.

Anyway, here is a pic of my fav air rifle. It was originally a Condor but is in Talon trim now. List of mods follows pic.

Both barrels are .22 caliber. Would like to thank Tony of Talon Tunes for the modified air tank, hammer and baffles. All working great after 3 years!

Also, WalkOnKing’s WOKButt was a godsend and makes shooting/scope alignment so much better.

Other goodies: Well, a cheap Eraticator scope that oddly works fine. The sunshade looks dumb, but if I take it off, I lose it. Earlyheimers. A laser for short range/heavy brush snap shots – that’s just one of AirForce’s laser kits. The heavy brush thing is why ya’ see some wear..

The stock was custom made for me by BloodRedBows dot com. Nice guy there and I like to think he did a good job.

Owing to the rosewood endcap, I jokingly call it: “The Weatherby BB Gun” (WBG) 😉

The WBG is backed up with a Para P14 converted to .45 super in case a rabbit charges. 😆 ‘er actually, that one is in case of a PO’d bear. They took 7 bears out of my little subdivision this year (“relocated or destroyed” – they would not specify how many of each), so probably not that much of a concern.
