LDC / silencer – which one to go for?
Hi to everyone here,
what concerns me for some time now, is the right decision to a good working LDC.
I read something about the LDCs from Neil Clague and also from Anthony Storey.
What I would like to know, if anyone has some experiences of both and has compared them.
The LDC will be used for a PCP in .45 and another on a .25.
Any ideas? – Thanks for giving some input in advance!

.45 pushes so much air your going to need a LDC with large volume to bring levels down, think 4-6 cell maglite size…4 cell will take it down to non hearing damage levels…6 cell will take it to low levels at 50+ yards
all the air and stuff rushing through a converted airforce rifle in .45 makes it noisy around the shooter no matter what
i have seen tubes more thinwalled than a maglite, and they tend to baloon over time…depends if ou pushing 200 fpe out of a korean, vs 400+ fpe out of a more powerful one…shroud really is the way to go to get large volume without adding a foot of ldc and weight out front
