Q:

Power Wheel

What do you think? What’s this worth? I would make the whole thing but there would be no numbers.

Good looking PW there! 🙂 I’d take one of those myself. I hate plastic parts on any gun, even an airgun if there are steel or alloy parts available.

Nice. You should create the hole jobby, set screw n all. That piece would sell I think.

Those numbers on that wheel are Bullshit anyways, I just look at the marks on the side of the frame. It ain’t rocket science 😕

I agree with leaving the numbers off, there is enough indication on the side of the frame to let you know where your at. Make the whole piece nice and shiny.

My Talon is blue and all the shit I’ve added so far is shiny, this would really brighten up the side of my gun.

If you decide to make the whole thing, PM me I’ll take one.

How do jewelers do engravings? Surely they don’t hammer in lettering(?). Would it be possible to put at least minimal gradation for the numbering? Something like 0…4…8…12…16. Cool idea though to replace the delrin!

The female part with the number seems to be made of something besides delrin. It is harder. I really never use those numbers. It is either at 0 or 12. 0 for the regs and 12 for full power.

Doug,

I sure know I like it, I have not been a big fan of the delrin parts on these guns really… This one included.

Far as the numbers and the graduation hash marks, I don’t see why I couldn’t just stencil the hash marks and get those all in the correct spacing around the PW, then just stencil the numbers in proper order.

Being from the aluminum all a person would need to do this would be some solid hard stock that would just fit nice and snug through this PW, this way you don’t damage it as you stencil the marks and numbers…

I can certainly see why you could not sell enough of these for you to do the numbers and hash marks though LOL… It would be very time consuming to say the least. The person that bought one from you could do his own if he chooses to, that or a person could make his own paper tape of the hash marks and numbers and then tape that around the PW…

I think this would be an awesome addition to one of these rifles myself…
Your truely one of the few that applies his self to this sport and these types of air rifles, and has the ability and talent. You be sure to give yourself alot of credit on this stuff you keep bringing to the table…

I didn’t put the hole for the indicator screw yet. I went out before I went to bed and made it just to see how hard it was to do. I will see if I can put the hole in it after work today.

Is there a hole for the little screw?

I will buy it if cost 15-30 dolars
