How good are the .25 Matadors?
Don’t want to do a lot of searching, thinking maybe instead of selling my .22 Matador I can find a trade for a .25.

Lee, I really don’t know as I have never set down and counted. I do know that when I was adjusting my HS tension and regulator, I would always shoot the gun till it came off of the regulator and then refill.
My R2.5 25 cal long version got 55-57 regulated shots and the R3 seemed to get a lot more. It seemed that I would keep shooting and wonder if it was going to ever come off of the regulator. When adjusting the HS tension and regulator, I found that I would set it and then shoot a fill out, refill and check the speed to see if it had moved any.
I think that the regulator and HS tension have to go thru a fill and off the reg and then they “lock In” with next fill.
I would guess that my R3 gets at least 65 shots per fill and it might be closer to 70. I will check it when the weather gets better.
IIRC, Nasser gets 75-80 with his R2.5 25 long.
Mark, my R3 shoots better 100 yard groups than my R2.5 22 cal standard. I don’t think that the 25 cal JSB is any more accurate than the 22 JSB. I do think that the R3 is an improvement over the R2.5
