Q:

Help needed; can’t unscrew reservoir from reservoir adapter

I got my got my Condor tank back from filling, now I can’t unscrew it from the AirForce 1/4 inch male BSPP Adapter. What could be the cause?

right on :thumb: a little silicone grease on that adapters o ring might just keep that from happening again

No. I just managed to get the Condor tank out of the fill adapter, turns out all it needed was some warm room temperature 😯 . To get the adapter out of the Din fill system I will have to use a vice, but I will do that later.

is it still connected to the fill tank?

Guess he cranked down the Din fill system too, cause I can’t unscrew that either. Thanks get the blue jay, I’ll try to do it using a bench vise.

he probably cranked the adapter down way too tight then, put the adapter in a bench vice, grab hold of the tank and twist 😉

It was filled from a scuba tank through a din fill system. It wasn’t filled by me, it was filled by a diver friend of mine.

were and how did you fill the tank?
most of the time when you can’t separate the adapter from the tank it means there is still air presser in it from the scuba tank, hand pump or so on… if this doesn’t help you out then give us some more back ground on it and perhaps a pic or two
