Q:

Condor Shrouds

Any members have shrouds for their Condors? I’m getting a .25 cal rifle and I’d like to keep it quiet for some indoor use.

Comments appreciated.

I personally don’t like the look of a shroud, mine has a .22 silencer-not sure which brand as I bought the rifle with it. Running at 72fpe on max its very quiet. I have a friend who has a Talon in .25 tuned by Tony with a shroud, my rifle is a bit quieter than his delivering 65fpe. I was expecting the opposite with a shroud being able to absorb more air.

I have a TT shroud myself.

I was impressed by the build quality, finish, and heft (or lack of it).

It attaches to the front of the frame with a bushing+nut, so you don’t get that
“screw-on” sensation but with the BATF around, all the better.

My condor .25 was moded for power by Tony, my son’s .25 is stock. Mine was much more loud. My son purchased another brand of shroud, I spent the bucks and got Tony’s. I’m glad I did because my gun is much quieter than my son’s. Mine was installed in less than a minute and is very secure plus that it looks very cool. I have completely forgotten about the extra money spent.
There will be no regrets.

Talk to Tony at Talon Tunes above. He does quality work.

A better question would probably be, “Who doesn’t have a shroud on their Condor?” Chuckle, chuckle….
