R 3 .25 shot strings, Hmmmmm
Okay the following are 4 out of 6 shot strings from today. I have made no adjustments. Following Ed’s advice to shoot and let her settle in. So far there is around 200 shots. I posted the first in another thread and the last was after replacing the pellet probe O rings. I need some more. The reason for such a short string is that I stopped when I dropped below the first shot. It looks like I am coming off the reg about shot 18-20 the 3rd shot string looked alot more even the the previous 2 so maybe she just needs to settle in. Any advice would be appreciated.

I’ve killed every one of her damn designer chickens. She stopped buying them when their heads continued to explode in the Summer sun (with the help of an Edgun). I tried to convince her to make little tin foil helmets and put around their heads when they were outside, but she didn’t bite on that one.
Since then, I’ve found the only adult, responsible, and effective means to deal with a difficult woman like that is to put dog shit in a paper bag, place it on her door step, set it on fire, ring the door bell, and run like hell.

but in my area, it’s illegal to shooting any paintball, airsoft, airgun, I just find it out today by call police station, and they told me it’s illegal

i live in an un-incorporated part of a metropolitan area in southern california where it is legal to shoot but i only learned that after a neighbor complained and the sheriff showed-up to discuss the issues with me. he had no idea if it was legal or not.
after that i became an expert on what’s legal and not legal (with regard to airgun shooting) in my neighborhood. at their 3rd visit i told them i didn’t want to hear about her complaints any more unless they suspected i was doing something illegal/dangerous.
i haven’t been bothered in more than one year.
inside the city limits yes it is illegal No paintball, airsoft, spitballs nothing.

Traxx, I just reread your post and finally noticed that 1/3 turn out on the reg and 2 turns out on the HST gives you high 830s with Kodiaks. That same setting should give you 880s with JSBs and you might pick up a couple of regulated shots also.

Traxx, that shot string is lookin a whole lot better!
I agree with F and D, turn the HST screw in and shoot a string. If you get a hump at the end, the reg needs turned down a little more.
When you adjust the reg, you need to shoot a few shots, refill and then shoot a shot string. For some reason, I find that the reg needs a few shots to reset after it has been adjusted. I like to shoot the few shots, refill, shoot a fill out, look at the string and if I am happy with it, I will then refill and see if the string is the same.
If it is the same, I am good to go. If not, the HST and or the reg needs to be adjusted more. I like to play with these guns!
When set right, these R3 25 Matadors should shoot a flat shot string with a 2-3 fps shot to shot variation and a MV of between 12-15 fps. At 880-910 fps, you should get at least 60 + regulated shots.
If you drop the first 3 shots and the last 2 shots, you have a 15 MV for 61 shots.
Guys on the Yellow would get major wood and feel all warm and fuzzy if their 25 FX Royale 500 Elite got 60 regulated shots with a MV of only 15.

Fill to 200, set the HST to shoot around 900fps for next 10 shots.
Then fill to 200 again and do a full 60 – 70 shot string.
