noob questions.
Hi. I’m very new and no about nothing.
What’s the difference between the talon and talon ss?
The talon is a bit more powerful but why does it cost less?
I wanted to buy the condor but it cost too much for my budget so I’m going for a talon or tss. Which is the better?
Alsowhere can I get a good scuba tank that’s not too much. I see that yellow on for 250$. But some people say they got it for 160-180. How much does a fill up cost?
Thanks

it’s only $65.50 for a “k” valve to a/f tank (standard scuba tank, 3,000psi)

also I have found that your local fire department will fill your tank up for no charge
True for 3k.
4.5k will run more.
Idk condor looks big to me. Bein asian, you wouldnt want a shorty err airgun.

buy a talon with a co2 adapter(or just the co2 model, can mod later) and reasonable scope, should get ya up and running till you get money to give it real balls. my .25 on co2 gives me around 25ftlb., which for your CURRENT needs should be adequate…
Before buying any PCP, find a place that will fill your tank and at what pressure. After finding a place, buy the size tank you will need. Tanks can run any where from $250 to $600, just depends on what you need as far as pressure.
If you can’t find a place that will fill a tank, then you will have to buy a pump or a high pressure compressor. A pump you can figure it will run you around $250 and a compressor any where from $450 to $3000.
You will still need a way to get air from the tank into the gun. Just a ball park, lets say $200.
If you are only going to kill birds with the set up, you don’t need that much power. I would say get a Benjamin Discovery Rifle and with a pump for about $400.
Accuracy and shot placement is the two most important things for taking out pests with an air gun. Testing pellets to find out which is the best out of a gun is a must for accuracy. After finding the right pellet, knowing how far a shot can be made and still hit the spot on the target that needs to be hit comes next.
There is all kinds of guns that can do this. Nothing wrong with a pump gun or a spring gun or co2. All these types of gun will be a lot cheap in the long run.
Good luck, now go do your homework! If you don’t pass school, you won’t even be able to afford a Red Rider BB gun. LOL.
Oh and I’m a short Asian guy. 5’3 130 pounds. Is a condor too big? I like power tho. But I will mostly be shooting birds. So which gun/ barrel is best? .177 or .22
Thanks for all the info so far. But first of all. I am a very poor working college student. I use to play airsoft spent probably a little over 1k.
Now I wanna shoot and kill some birds. But I dont wanna spend that much. What I really want it a condor but the talon is so much cheaper. Can someone give me a break down of everything I need? Scuba tank…everything I need for the scuba tank? Just that refill scuba clamp that comes with the gun right?
Please more info!!!
Buzzkill! 😆

Well Randy the differences are quite simple, First off lets start with the fact that the both have the same valve on them as well as the same hammers.
the talon comes standard with an 18in barrel, and the ss comes with a 12incher. the extra 6inches of the talon is were the extra speed is developed. (if ordering a brand new on from p/a or anyone else you van get whatever barrel you wish for).
next difference is the frames, the ss is much longer than the talon frame and comes with an “end cap”, the ss is a wee bit quieter but still not “back yard friendly” you will need to do something to both guns if you want to be stealth.
here is a pic showing the different frames
