update, talon in .25

ok guys the weather is cooperating.!!! shot my talon on hpa ,and tryed to get it sighted in. had several low power shotsnot even sure if the pellet exited the barrel, so i chose to check it each time . got a low sound report. looks like its going to favor exact kings or mayby kodiaks, light ammo went everywhere at 64 yards. didnt run it thru the chrony. did not get very many shots out of the first bottle. so i checked the top hat setting ,it was .085 and the power wheel was on 6. so i used the reference section here !!!! thanks again, my stem was proud of the top hat so ive sey my top hat at .095 and powerr wheel at 4. will try again later this week. looks like the hammer was hitting the stem and not the top hat. i would like to set this rifle up 20 to 25 flbs , trying to get a good 35 shots per fill useing heavy pells. just a small note !!! the retieved pellets totally flattened at 34 yards against a steel knock down target. and the 64 yard kings mushroomed out at 64 yards. i think i probably made to many changed at once !!!!! but i needed to try to stopp hitting the stem. what do you guys think ?? am i going about this the correct way ??
