I got a3.5 inch group with my 57 grain bullets today
At 150 yards.
I put the 2×7 Burris Fullfield on on three power and with a 30 yard zero, holding on the heavy duplex post in the plate, one hit the plate and the others were slightly lower. Drop looks like it should have been on 2 power.
The difference in the FX Royale with 18 grainers and the souped up 17 inch Conodr with the 57 grain LBT bullets was striking, litteraly,
THe bullets passed thru the metal, even the plate and the metal backing and thru the 1/2 inch plywood.
So then I went back down and tried it again on 3 power and then on 2 power.
The LBT bullets past thru the plate and thru the metal on the target and thru the 1/2 inch plywood. The group was fired on 2 power.
With a friggen air rifle on 2 and 3 power.

Yikes! So now, even grape thieves driving a getaway car are screwed; you can punch through the sheet metal at 150 yds!?! (although maybe not on a 1968 Cougar. Man, those were heavy.)
The FX is a tack hammer; your Condor is a 10 lb sledge.

Hey Pabs, I know your still hurt over the cow thing,
And I know that you guys shoot these groups in the UK all the dang time with 57 grains at 850 and higher at 150 yards.
It is just for us guys in the USA it is special.
Which is of course why we won the war in the 1770’s and in 1812, because you guys respect momma cows and shoot so good. 😆
