barrel break in/conditioning
due to a large influx of new guys recently, id like to occasionally reiterate old topics, this time id like to do barrel care.
firstly, id like to get a few of your guys opinions-materials-methods as to what the first things done to your barrels, some thoughts on bore compound and equivalents, barrel repair, cleaners, break-in, and conditioning.
how bout pellet lubes? if you live in a moist climate, most would recommend different things, like good ol clp, one lube, wax lubes, or nothing, etc.
just a few expert opinions to display among the recent posts.
if anybody wants my 2 bits, feel free to ask… 😉

I just shoot the hell outta it….. I use some cheap walmart crossman hp’s and run most of the tin through it… When the groups start to close up a bit then you know the burrs and gunk have been cleared out, at that point its time to start with the good lead and see what brand she likes or dosn’t…..
