Q:

5 shots ,260 yards, 4.5 inches, 25 LBT

Best group of the day, tethered to 3000 PSI, prone without the bipod Jerry 😛

The 12 inch bull is the white dot above the sheep shed, 4 shots hit the bull one was just off, all were into 4.5 inches. The Bungie cord end was my aiming point

Wok,

Not nearly as well, you loose a lot of pellets to what could best be called ” Diablo decay”, that is where they start to corkscrew as distance increases.

The 25’s seem to do better at 150 yards than the 22’s but as distance increases the 25 Diablo designs start having problems also.

Harry was the first I know to post on this, he many times measures 4 out of 5 shots because of this and at one time I think said you could expect 20% to corkscrew. I know many shooters report this as their barrels get dirty, but at these ranges I am not sure a very clean barrel helps.

It is basically the realm of cast bullets. But you also have to realize, Diablo pellets were not designed to be long range projectiles.

Good shooting! Makes me really wish I had another couple hundred yards of backyard!

So how does your FX do at that distance?
