Comparing some .22 pellets
Hello I went to my local Dunham’s today and picked some new pellets. I had the box of Crosman Premier 14.3gr ($24.99) and the Crosman Premier Hollow Points 14.3gr ($8.95) that I purchased form http://www.airgunwarehouseinc.com so today I picked up some Gamo TS-22 22gr pellets ($5.99) here is how they shot at ten yards. I put 5 shots in each circle which was traced form a quarter.

Yet another confirmation that Gamo sucks…..
I shoot the Beeman Kodiak heavies when I want to shoot long range. and JSB exacts or CPL when I’m inside 25 yds. I am trying the JSB Heavies right now and they are showing promising results at 25 yds sub 1/2″ 5 shot groups in a breezy day.
Try beeman Kodiak match heavy and Skenco big boy 15.8gn. I found the skencos gave me 22 ft/lbs from my 12″ TSS
I just bought a tin of the hollowpoint Cabelas pellets locally and I’m pretty sure they are repackaged Crosman hollowpoints. I’m pretty sure the Benjamin pellets are the same way. They had them in the bargain cave so I got them for about 1/2 I would pay to get them from PA.
I shot several groups at 25 yards today and oddly enough Crosman Destroyers grouped about an 3/4″ for me.
BTW Pandemic you might check out RWS superdomes as they are pretty cheap and shoot nearly as well as CPH for me.
Lastly, does anyone know if the H&N round shot shoots worth a damn in the Talons? I used to shoot the Gamo rounds in a Disco and actually had good results but they shoot around 1.5″ @ 25yds in my TSS.
Yeah my local Walmart has them I got them when I ordered all the stuff for my gun and shipping was free lol but yes It’s the same tin as at Walmart
You might want to check a Wal-Mart, if there’s one nearby, for the premier hollow points. Sometimes, it takes some looking around, but they often have them. Plus, no shipping fee. I’m told the cardboard box, regular premiers are better than the canned Premiers, but who knows?

ten yards is all i have in my basement and it is just to windy out today to shoot and just shooting at ten yards i could tell the gamo ts-22 are crap could get the job done but will stick with crosman pellets for now

do not feed your rifle gamo pellets ever,
and dont post 10 yard groups without expecting some flak…
nothing from gamo is worth spending any money on!
TS-22 are okay but they have quite a few fliers in them
I mostly shoot my .177 barrel but those Gamo groups are interesting. I bought a cheap tin of .22 “Match” wadcutters and they looked horrible as well as shot dismally. It is interesting to see not all of their stuff is junk.
I tried the ts-22 in .177 for my Condor, they didnt work well + the were very loose in my barrel. Mine best likes Crosman Premiers Heavy (10.5) and the Eun Jin (16gr)
