Q:

Russian Rifle

Posted this over on “general chat” but this maybe where it needs to be. Found a video last night about a Russian Bullpup called a FilGun. Very cool, short bullpup. Did a Google search and nothing. Any you guys here know anything about these or that rifle. It looked like it was very well done. They said it was set up for urban hunting, 😯 this got my attention very quickly, love urban starling hunting 😎 I have two good contacts into Russia but need to know where to start looking for one of these rifles. Maybe not a replacement of the Edgun but another choice. ❓ Any and all help appreciated…

That’s amazing…thanks for posting.

Dude…I don’t think a brand new .25 Matador can be had for $2200.00.

If and when one is available, the only way you can get your hands on one is to be on Tony’s (Toshik) magic list.

I suspect the new price on a .25 long would be close to $2500, and I’m guessing.

Don’t feel bad…there hasn’t been a new Edgun in the U.S. for over a year now. When they show up, they won’t resell cheap.

hello hoot looks like your fairly close to me here in pine bluff. i have an offer
of 2200.00 us for a 25 cal matador do you have any leads or one for sale
yourself you can reach me at drjmglover@yahoo.com

“Filagun” I remember reading about it a few years ago and inquiring.

I’m not sure it’s even made anymore. It wasn’t for export due to Russian Customs laws.

The Cricket and Edgun are probably the two most well known Russian bullpups. All these guys started out as hobbiests and started producing air guns for sale. Some stayed in business, some crashed and burned.
