New Wokbutt for the new Talon/Condor
For years I have made an adjustable shoulder piece for the Talon/Condor. Airforce on their new rifles have followed my lead and now use a strap type version to hold their shoulder piece in place. While they used my idea of a strap on shoulder piece for the tank the way the implemented it just is not going to pass muster on strength and looks.
So I have developed a “New Wokbutt” for the Airforce rifles that come with their new strap on shoulder piece.
Here is the gun from the factory.

You can see the shoulder plate bolt to the back of the tank piece with a 10-32 bolt. There is no support under the shoulder piece and if hit wrong or dropped on the shoulder piece it may break.
Here is my new design for the “New Wokbutt”. It has all the adjustablility of the original Wokbutt but has support built in for the new AF strap shoulder piece system.
Tell me what you guys think of it so far..

Nice work WOK. As long as AF continues to ignore all the R & D and consumer feedback posted here, you folks with the skills to make stuff we all want will continue to have a market.
Besides, if AF incorporated all the great ideas found here into their product, and there was less to fuck with on the gun, folks would buy one of the other great guns I read about that currently don’t benefit from modification.
To all the machinists and modders – keep up the great work. Gives guys like me something to do and some place to spend my money (besides whiskey and women).
