As you can tell it is all cosmetic so what can I do for more accurate and more consistent shots. I do not have a chrony yet so I don’t know what speed I’m putting out. I have the power wheel set at 3. Any help would be great so far my gun likes Crossman Premiers 14.3g tried some other cheap pellets and accuracy got worse. It would be great if some of you guys could send me like 5 or 6 pellets that you guys are shooting just so I can see if my gun likes them. Thanks Everyone

Hey Pandemic,
First of all I am no expert but other than the things already covered so far the best improvements I have made was a 1 piece scope mount and duro 90 breach o-rings.
While replacing the o-rings I enlarged the slot for the bolt handle and installed a larger bushing made from a piece of plastic tubing. With a top hat setting 0.70 this made things real snug, made a big improvement with groups for me.
I have a 24″ barrel and I shoot 21g cudas.
Works for me. 🙂
Best of luck

Will do

could be your internals, you mentioned you did clip with some cheaper pellets which means you could be just Barely nicking one of them, not enough to throw things way out of whack but just enough to get a very slight wobble, try stretching it’s legs a bit and see what it doing as well as try it with out your internals.

I know my 12 inch barrel loves cp’s

Let someone else shoot it 😉

Gtbj I keep a nice soft grip on the gun I’ve read a lot about frame flex I’m saving up for a chrony and cf tank and shoe box compressor

could be your hold… these little black beauties like to be held nice and softly and not muscled in any way shape or form….

There are several gismos that are very important to our sport. One of them, as Rob pointed out, is a good chronograph. There just isn’t any way of knowing what speed your pellets are traveling, or how consistent those speeds are without one. In case you haven’t noticed, I prefer the ProChrono Digital Model. It generates less error messages than the the one that folds. It also has 99 shot strings. That means you can shoot from 1 to 99 shots and have the data for all of those shots, instead of the 10 that the other one limits you to. The user interface of the ProChrono is also much easier to use. Check it out.

Whichever you choose, you’ll be much better informed as to what your gun is really doing and what your adjustments are doing. You can save huge amounts of air by dialing in your gun witha a chronograph.

Do you have a carbon fiber tank yet? Do you have a Shoebox compressor? These are things that will make your PCP hunting/target shooting much more enjoyable.

Good luck!

I don’t think so I’m not getting that crack/sonic boom sound from breaking the sound barrier. But I don’t know for sure with out a chrony. I don’t think I’m clipping the baffels because I did clip it once with some cheap Gamo pellets and could hear and see the damage. Like I said it was windy so maybe that was it. But can not say for sure.

Should be hitting clovers at 30 yards….

are you sure you arent clipping the baffles you made?…I would try without the baffles and see what happens…

If you are running that short bird hot, you really should consider the heavier pellets. Are your Premiers going supersonic now through it?

accuracy is good but I want great I only have 10 yards to shoot in my basement and my groups look like clovers I took it out to 30 Yards the other day and groups opened up to about one inch but there was a slight wind

Kodiaks or JSB 18rs are going to be your ticket for better accuracy.

As far as consistency. Chrony.

What kind of groups are you getting now out of it? Have to ask…. so dont get all butt hurt… but what kind of groups do you get out of other guns? (meaning are you sure it’s not you)
