JSB – Red vs. Gray Label
JSB – Red vs. Gray Label
I did a little test today using the JSB 18.1g pellets with the new red label and the old gray label. Both red and gray label were 5.52 mm heads.
Target was at 30 yards and each group is ten (10) shots. The Daystate Huntmans blew the pellets down range.
I also tested some JSB 18.1 with 5.53 mm heads with a gray label. I give you one clue, column C is the 5.53 mm heads groups. I pulled on one shot in the bottom group.
Column A top group is .55 of an inch. Bottom group is .54 of an inch.
Column B top group is .69 of an inch. Bottom group is .75 of an inch.
Column C top group is .55 of an inch. Bottom group is .57 of an inch (not counting the one I pulled).
Okay boy and girls, which column (A or B) was the red label?

A column is the winner!
Bottom line is the Daystate doesn’t really care which JSBs you feed it.
The next windless day I see how the FX Cyclone likes or don’t like them.
