What is this?
Found this inside the breech end of Maudie. I do not know if affects accuracy or not as she is in pieces right now and i am with out air till the weekend.
It lines up with the transfer port and seems to be in the area of where the 2nd grub screw tightens against the barrel.

I’d send it back on principle. Just out of curiosity, how does the gun shoot? Is it accurate? Acceptable, but could be better? Or, just shoots like shit?
Are the barrels still being made by the Green Mountain Barrel Company?

So, the pellet goes over that bump? If so, I’d say you have cause for a new barrel.
yep.. looks like a pressure indentation…or protudion(sp?) i guess it would be.. ya know, kind of like how a choke is…

If I look down the barrel i see the tp. first, then the bump. which is in the aprox. area of the 2nd breech grub.
..so if I understand right it is just over the tp and directly were there is a grub screw that comes through the breach to hold the barrel in place?
I would call cros and let them know, also tell them you can email them a pic as your talking with them
Just so you know it is not a crack. It is more of a bump.

Have slugged the barrel to see if it’s noticeable on a pellet?
