Q:

Talon P TANKS

A while back I saw a thread concerning the use of paintball tanks on a Talon P now I can’t seem to find it. Where did it go?

Thx Gary

I just ordered 2 more of the 22 cu tanks form JDS Airman. This will give me 3 of them now. I emailed him and he said he had many of the 22 cu tanks in stock.

Thanks for the info. I am still interested in the 22ci tank but now that I have the RAP4 adjustable buttstock installed on the 13ci tank I can see where I may prefer using one of RAP4’s 17ci tanks to increase the minimum LOP by only 2″ instead of the 4″ of the 22ci tank. I may have to settle for the 22ci tank if RAP4 can’t give me something solid on when they will have more 17ci tanks in stock.

Thanks I knew that I wasn’t dreaming. I have found several places that sell the Guerrilla 22 ci with their regulated for around $70.

Just thought I’d let you know that there are only three small paintball tanks that work well with the TalonP. The first is the 13 cu in (213cc) tank that comes with the TalonP. There are several sources for the 13 cu in tank. Some are 1-15/16″ dia. and some are 2″ dia. The TalonP tank is 2″ dia. The next size up is the 17 cu in (280cc) tank. It is only available from RAP4 and has a 1-15/16″ dia. They are currently out of stock and don’t expect to have anymore until October. The third tank is the 22 cu in (360cc) tank. That is also my choice for the TalonP. There are two sources for the 22 cu in tank. The first is Guerrilla Air. Their tank is a 2-1/2″ dia. tank. You may be able to use the Guerrilla Air tank for your application but I need a 2″ dia. tank so I can use a RAP4 M4 style buttstock on my TalonP. The buttstock requires a 1-15/16″ or 2″ dia. tank. The only source for a 22 cu in 2″ dia. tank that I know of is JDS Air Man. John DiStefano, the guy behind JDS, is also out of stock. I’ll be contacting him soon to find out when he’ll be getting some more tanks.

I hope this has been helpful. I was all set to place my order for a tank when I discovered that the Guerrilla Air tank is 2-1/2″ dia. and my two second choices are both out of stock. 🙁

Thanks I knew that I wasn’t dreaming. I have found several places that sell the Guerrilla 22 ci with their regulated for around $57.00
