Pistol recommendation?
I’m looking for a semi auto pistol that I can put a reflex sight on. I’d like to eventually get a race gun so this is just to get my feet wet. I looked at PA and even their most expensive pellet pistol, the cp88, does not look like it has a realistic trigger or accuracy. Do you guys know any in the $4-500 range? Again; semi-auto, rails for sights, and accurate.

I’d love to buy a rimfire pistol but there’s nowhere to shoot here. So far the only pistol I can find is the twinmaster trainer but I’m not sure how reliable they are.

the colt has a decent trigger pull , just not match, it is very accurate for a semi clip gun, i would say like 3/4″ at 15 yards, maybe better,
the deal is when you pull the trigger it rotates the clip in single action, in double action , in cocks the hammer and rotated the clip.
i just was after a more precise gun.
my RWS 6 G will put 5 pellets in like a 2 pellet hole group at 10 yards on the bags. another words it shoots better than me, the colt would not do this, if you are not that picky, it would be a great gun for you.
Ruger MKiii with 7″ bull barrel is stunningly accurate with a red dot. A brick of quality 22 ammo is the same or less than quality 22 pellets. I really enjoy shooting it but you do have to clean it compared to an air gun.
can you get a powderburner pistol?
If so Id reccomend a Ruger MKIII , a Ruger SR22 if you can get ahold of one or a Browning Buckmark
all in .22 lr

well if you want semi auto, match accuracy, reliabilty, ect under $500…thats a tall order in an Air pistol
way I see it you have maybe two viable options
either a second hand B96 with a barrel rail or a Drulov Condor
maybe a Rohm Twinmaster which is actually technically a revolver
all three can be found occasionaly for under five bills
How accurate are the 1911? How’s the trigger
couldnt remember if mine had a rail or not, but here you go, i can say the gun shot great, i loved it but wanted match accuracy and traded it for a Rws 6G.
looks like he mounted the scope rail in the rear sight notch.
