Q:

problem with regulator

Hallo from Bulgaria,Europe!

Last year I bought a 2100 PSI regulator from jdsairman.com for my big bird.
Unfortunately now I have a problem with it – the tank(48cu.in) is full at 3000 PSI but I can’t make a shoot, because regulator is not provide any air. That problem appear two times for the period of exploitation, but first time after one week the problem was solved from itself, but now the problem present from 2 weeks. The tank is full but I can’t shoot. I can push the top head with finger, and there is no any air. How can I drop the air from the tank and how can I repair/ unblock the regulator.
Please help me to solve that boring problem.
Best regards!!!

Yes, my problem is solved from itself again.
May be there is some kind of pollution inside in thee regulator but he works good now, so I wouldn’t like to disassemble it.
Best regards and thanks that sharing your opinion.

is your problem solved?

Attach your tank to your pump/air cylinder and start to fill until you overcome the pressure of the tank, you should hear the check valve open with a little “think.”

Then with the fill nipple pointing upwards, open the bleed screw on your pump/air cylinder VERY slowly until its only just bleeding out the air. This will drain the tank, if you bleed too fast the check valve will close and you will see the pressure in the fill line drop fast.

Open up the regulator and see what’s inside, there have been reports of swarf and other bits of metal found in the regulators.
