Remington Airmaster 77 help
I took apart my airmaster, as it wasnt even shooting hard enough to penertrate a phone book.
I shoot a squirrel in the head yesterday, and gave it a concussion, Im serious no blood, no nothing it fell out of the tree and then sat and sat and walked off.
Right in the head.
So its apart, what do I do, any mods that are recomended?
Thanks

With any of the cheaper MSP’s you have a few options. The valve is a dump valve that expels all the air in one shot…. but it sounds as though you arent getting enough air in the valve to matter much.
If you cock the gun and dont pump and shoot again, do you still have air? If so, then you are not dumping all the air as you should be. Check your hammer spring or lighten the valve spring.
If you are dumping all the air out, then you simply are not getting enough air inside. Check the pump cup for nicks or cuts. May be able to fill in the cup if to flat face it….. but you may have to flat face your valve as well.
Aside from that, I’d oil it lightly and work the oil in.
……do you ‘feel’ pressure building with each pump? Each pump should be progressively harder… if you are not feeling a difference, you simply are not building pressure.
