S&W 586
I just got this off the AA Classifieds. I have owned a truckload of S&W revolvers and shot them double action most of the time. I retired before the advent of auto’s so I have hundreds of thousands of rounds thru the S&W’s. This revolver allows you to two stage just like the real ones and makes a nice practice gun.
I just shot a starling off the bird feeder with it, it did the job. Probably wouldn’t shoot any thing with teeth tho.

I’m going to sand on them some more, I will see how good the stock grips are before I get serious about finishing these. They might just end up in the spareparts bin.

Yeah they sure are, and the 44’s are always my favorite. I carried a 29-1 that was shipped a couple of days after JFK was shot. I gave it to one of my boys after he shot a cow elk with it.
