On shots #7 & #27 the Shooting Chrony FLASHED “ERR” but gave new readings.

And yes, I’ve got dial-up. If you live way out in the boonies, you don’t have much choice. Expensive satellite or dial-up. Where we are, a valley, even satellite is unreliable when the signal is trying to penetrate a mountain or big hill.
When I design web sites, keeping “dial-up friendly” not only makes it more accessible, but the pages load super fast w/ high speed connections. It’s easy to create high quality web images with small file sizes, under 100k, as long as you start w/ decent images.
Your images are clear enough to notice the AA is making more centered stacks! You realize you are contradicting what the vast majority of air gun folks say about springers, eh? Excellent! Gives one a goal to strive for. Just hope I don’t wear out my RWS48 getting there.
What pellets were you using?
Spinj, Yep, my generation, PRE Baby Boomers, started the internet with 600 baud modems on the Prodigy Network. That was 600 (HUNDRED) bits, or was it bytes? per second. A couple years ago I dumped the DSL line and fell back to 2 Gig. Now with 4G cellphone data it is tolerable again.
Back on topic, getting 14 FPE with JSB 10.3 gn. makes for good small game kill power so they say. I’ve got some local ferral cats that will soon be leaving on Tuesday mornings. I’ve been watching them for a couple weeks with a night vision camera and 2 HF motion detectors. They were shitting in my tomato planter but strangely not since I took some fresh shit down the street and deposited it in a neighbor’s outdoor cat feeder. Homes are to close and I don’t trust some neighbors so I won’t use the mean looking Condor. However, the cats are readily drinking under a weighted deadfall trap I have setup. I hope it Doesn’t accidentally fall and hurt them. I can legally poison thousands of ants and insects but I have to resort to my early American ancestors trapping techniques to get rid of ferral cats.

I hope nobody is using a dial up connection trying to download them.
What with very bad hearing, I have had to resort to using hardware to achieve a good tune-up of my Condor. I hoped to add a couple equipment related pictures but am waiting for any expressed interest in my setup.
I still remember a few years back when we would appologize as we would hijack a thread and then proceed to do so. 😆

Despite what I said above, though, to me a regulator just adds another part that will wear out and require replacement or repair. In my opinion, the best air rifles, at the least, are those with a minumum amount of moving parts or mechanical operations. More moving parts translates to more variables added to shooting. Plus, I don’t like having down time with things I regularly play with, and that includes my guns. I’d rather be shooting them hard than doing repair work. That’s why I have no problem with my uregulated S410. All it takes is knowing which point in the pressure range of the fill I should top off to and when to refill. Even with this, I still can get around 60 shots at 720 FPS from its ideal power curve. I like my TX200 MK3 spring-piston rifle the best though – no sweet spots, very consistent, no worrying of fills, and less mechanical parts.
In case you’re wondering how accurate my guns can be, let this be proof:

And believe me, 780 FPS is more than enough for hunting. Less air pressure required for those velocities=less tank stress=more fills=less SCUBA tank fill-up=longer shooting sessions= 😆 😆 😆

i think aa may be giving such a great springer at a fair price by using cheap springs? ❓
