I told Tony add me to the list when the news broke out but lately it seems people get lost in the shuffle.

Ed,

how the development’s going?……. when can we get in the waiting list for 9 mm, how many shoot for one tank of air

please, let us know some more information

Thank you so much in advance

quote Backyardairgunner:

Also added up roughly I got 120fpe?

5 grams is 70 grains and 1 meter is like 3 feet and he said 200 something meters per second.

Not bad

5 gm=77 grains, and he said goal was 300 mps.(984 fps) They measured 296 on the test shot. ATt300 fps, that’s 166 fpe. Not too shabby!!

Amen, OG.. 🙂

My thoughts are exact the same (except for .22 R3) but could be not wrote in that many words and clear explained 🙂

OK Charlie, I know that you like to piss people off. 😆

You have pissed me off by lumping Edguns in with Wolverines and Rouges! 😯

Edguns have a lot of hype but, they deliver on it!

Except for a DAC, show me any other air gun that was bought for $1495, was shot a lot and was sold a couple of years later for $2500!

I know that you are big on FX Royals. While I was waiting for my 25 cal R2.5 Matador to come in, I bought a 22 cal FX Royale 400. I paid for 2 extra magazines for it and the total price was $1850 shipped. When my R2.5 25 cal long version finally came in, it cost $1695 shipped.

I am willing to bet that you paid a LOT less than retail for either of your FX guns.

I made a bull pup conversion for the FX and got it shooting almost as well as the R2.5 22 standard shot. The conversion shot as well as the gun shot with the standard stock. When the R2.5 25 cal long came in, the FX couldn’t compare to the new Edgun and I haven’t shot it since then.

Before you lump the Matadors with the Wolverines and Rouges, I think that you should get on the Edgun list and see what the Edgun is about. Tell Tony that you want a R3 25 cal long version. I can’t imagine you wanting to keep either of the FXs after the Matador comes in. If you don’t love the Edgun, you can always sell it for at least what you gave for it.

I was never interested in the Rouge. The Wolverine still interests me. They say that they have a 25 cal version planned. If they do come out with one, I will buy one and try to make a bull pup out of it. The .303 shot count and accuracy doesn’t impress me. I am trying to get away from pellets. I want to find out how a 25 cal Wolverine, with a good barrel and shooting swaged/cast bullets does. 10-15 900 fps regulated shots with a 50 grain bullet would be sweet!

Knowing Ed, if he comes out with a 9mm gun, it will be a game changer!

Why do non Edgun owners think they all cost around $2500. A new
Verminator w/mod costs $50 more than I paid for my 2.5 .22 😕
I don`t see buying a big bore.Bought an airgun because it is an
airgun.Making bullets just isn`t on my want to do list.If I want to shoot
5 or 6 hundred a week?RC what Tony are you talking about?Tony that
sells for Ed.What does he have to do w/production?
slimey limey???

Question I have is did you get at least on round in that cats ass before it departed the OA?

I am sure Ed has all the money he needs and could care less about production. He has a pretty wife and just loves to tinker and at this stage in life and the fact all you Edgun owners are paying him to do it. I suspect it is a Russian, “its my ball and we play the game my way,” sort of thing.

And I can identify with that, I have lots of money, I love to mod guns, drink Russian Vodka and squeeze one off in mamma nightly myself.

The Wolverine like the Rogue is another answer to a question that was not asked.

Right now we are having a problem getting JSB Kings and 18.1 grainers, and now they tell us they are going to make 303 caliber pellets for a overly expensive, huge and heavy gun that is not showing good accuracy or power.

If you over look the fact your going to be running out of pellets, then accept the idea the next run may not be the size you need for accuracy, which is a problem in all their pellets. Or some slimy limey shithead dropped the pallet and bent all the skirts.

And they make our best pellets, sad.

Buy an American big bore, a newer Haley, a Xpairguns, a bullet mold and an older F-150 picup truck for your yard with what money you have left from not buying a Edgun, Rogue or Wolverine. You might even have money left over for a bottle of Stoli that you and mamma can party with.

My vote would to to Forget the 9mm idea

and

concentrate on making a multishot conversion kit for current matador!

I think that the guy from Daystate is about four feet tall so the gun looks huge.

Ok, just my opinion.

Does the new day state wolverine look HUMoungous?

And based on the videos, loud?

I love the looks. It is an aesthically pleasing gun. However, it appears to be designed for Andre the giant. I don’t know?

If Ed bases his new 9mm after the long gun bullpup parameters,
It will be my next gun, especially if he keeps it under ~36″.

Sorry for the grammar errs, on my iPhone. And again just mho.

Tacoma_Tom You are so right! I have to think what you said is all true, and I am sure that is why people wait for his guns! I have said this before, one thing for sure you never hear of much going wrong with Ed’s guns, customs fuck them up but that is in no way Ed’s fault! He is so dedicated to his work, and there is nothing wrong with that! Like you said maybe he can’t find anyone to build them to his likeing?? the more I think about it with him being so particular about everything, I am sure it would be hard to find someone that cares about what he makes as much as he does! 😯

LOL, I took note of the customized fan as well! I was wondering if the blades needed to be fixed or if all that’s on there for proper balancing!

Very exciting to see Ed working on this. I’m not into the big bore guns, but I can’t help but want one of these!

Eddieirvine, I see where you’re coming from. I think Ed is at the point in his business where it’s time to expand, change location, or change something to boost the productivity rate. Ed’s got HIGH expectations of each and every gun he makes. We’re all happy about that. It would be nice if he found another perfectionist as detail oriented and committed as he is to join him in the assembly process. This would free up some time for him to explore and experiment on future endeavors, like the 9mm. Personally, I don’t think Ed needs to do such mundane details as screwing on a stock, wiping down a completed gun, or packaging each one for shipment. Let somebody else do that.
But, I’m not Ed and I’m not able to truly speak on his situation. Maybe he’s a one man show by choice, or maybe he just can’t find good reliable help, or maybe it would cut into his (already minimal) profits too much. It would be nice to see his company grow. But also maintain its high level of quality.

I’m still wondering what ever happened to the Morana? It looked really interesting. I’ll bet there’s only one finished prototype and it’s sitting around Ed’s shop or house somewhere. D’oh!

Nice prototype and Nice fan!

I will definitely be looking forward to this!!

PUT ME ON THE FUCKEN LIST ASAP!

BTW I like Ivan Drago!
