Had it been serial number 0001 out of the genuine Russian production I would have agreed. However with serial no 0001 out the Estonian assembly plant, – I am more doubtful.
I may be wrong. (it happens quite frequently I’m afraid…. 😳 )
To me this compares to others who moved production out of origin and into another country for whatever reason. I’ve yet to see valuable collectors’ items emerging from such an operation……….
But then again, – I don’t know it all……….
That said, – apparently a beautiful gun but with a brownish appearing breechblock which should have been black like the rest of the action….

It’s actually CHEAP considering. A good investment as far as airguns go.

Either way, Monsoon is on an Edgun buying spree. I bet he snaps up every one that gets listed on the Yellow in the near future. I’m eagerly awaiting another Matador to be posted for sale on the Yellow just to see if he buys another one!

The guy who bought that “collectors grade” SN 0001 Matador has purchased 6 or 7 Matadors from the Yellow over the past two months, most for rather high prices– my .22 R2 included.
What he’s doing with that many I’m not sure; I’m assuming he’s managing to resell them to an international market for even higher prices!
