Be Aware of Anthony Jarvis from Garfield Heights, Ohio

I hate to bring other board drama to this site but this is a fair warning. This kid is a member of the marauder forum and recently there was some drama.

I don’t know if it’s safe to post a link here so I’ll give you a quick synopsis.

Anthony (Longranger21) (email address is thegreatest1(at)yahoo(dot)com) tried to sell his .25 M-rod on their buy/sell forums. Another member named Hummy22 made a thread looking to buy a .22 or a .25 M-rod. Longranger21 entered his thread and tried to set up a deal with him.

Next thing you know, Longranger21 makes a post in the thread saying not to deal with Hummy22 as he was given a fraudulent postal order. Hummy22 is confused because he says he didn’t send anything. Longranger21 has someone post the money order and some emails. Hummy22 says it wasn’t his email address and wasn’t his physical address on the money order. Other people jumped in saying that he shouldn’t be called a scammer with no proof. These people were accused of being in on the scam.

Long story short, Longranger21 got Hummy22 confused with another member. The postal order wasn’t fraudulent either. The person at the post office screwed up because they had never seen that type before or something like that.

In the mean time, Hummy22 bought a used .22 m-rod from another trusted member who says that it’s being shipped to a place nowhere near the address on the money order.

So that SHOULD be the end of it, right? Except Longranger21 won’t take down the posts accusing Hummy22 of being a scammer. I sent him a message suggesting he take them down and to publicly apologize for tarnishing Hummy22’s reputation. He had some unkind words about that too.

I know guys, a lot of words. This guy is a member of the marauder forum and the yellow forums. He’s been given a week to put this to bed and refuses to do it. I am trying to get him banned from the marauder forum and I’m trying to warn other air gunners to stay away from this guy.
