Q:

gamo .177 Red Fire pellets w/ polymer tip

.
Gamo Red Fire .177 x150 @ 7.8 grains ea.
Tin of 150 actually 154 @WM
$7.97+6.5%tax=$8.49 or 5.66 cents each.
Weight of 100 = 51.0 grams
Or. 100 = 787.05 grains
Or Average = 7.87 grains each
625 PSI PW 0 = 660 FPS = 7.615 FPE
= 21.95 SD for 10 shots
1,500 PSI PW 0 = 930 FPS = 15.118 FPE
= 4.47 SD for 10 shots

FIT = Snug to Tight
Diamond shape tips appear well mounted with no separation in the tin.

Shot into Duct Seal. 660 FPS at 5 feet, 930 FPS at 22 feet.

I only shot indoors at close range using my Condor high flow/ polished and ported valve stem with o-ring behind top hat/ My Enlightened Hammer (spacer weight moved in front of spring)/ Power Wheel = 0, and 12″ TT .177 barrel.

I was impressed at the expansion at 930 FPS into duct seal at 22 feet. The polymer tip was squarely amidst the mushroomed lead with the very tip deformed maybe from other pellets. All entered the target straight on and only diverted when other lead was encountered.

Although these are Gamo and Pricey @5.7 cents each, at 930 FPS they pack 15 FPE, expand great in duct seal, Fit snug to tight, and 10 shots registered 4.47 SD from a 1500 PSI Fill.

Are these just predator polymags rebranded or are these really new?

Probably but a slightly different weight than the gamo version from pyramyd air. New stock at my wal-mart and don’t have to wait or pay shipping.
