Q:

Anyone know how to machine barrel for an airarcher….

Conversion for a .25 talon tuned condor? I just need the barrel and the sleeve that goes over the barrel. I dont need a valve. It seems like an easy task because its just a hollow tube that screws onto the gun that you can slide an arrow over and the sleeve is bassicly a non functioning shroud to hide the barrel i guess. Any ideas for a simply conversion for my gun so that it can shoot an arrow??? All opinions are welcome 😀

hi california quailer, i too wanted a air archer but unfortunatly tagdagger wouldnt ship to uk so i chucked my 12 inch barrel in my lathe and used an 8mm end mill in my tailstock and bored a 8 mm hole down the barrel about an inch deep then bought a length of 8mm seamless hydraulic tube and bonded it in the recess
very simple process, i already had a blodnob valve and 105gram hammer so just fitted converted barrel and heavy mainspring and hey presto over 400fps, easy peasy lemon squeezey 😀

I could do up a barrel and shroud only if you like, but performance would be limited without a valve tuned for the heavier arrows.
What ever magic Tony does to his valves should be left alone. I may have a used valve I could tune for arrows for you If your interested.
When the website goes back up I’ll be offering valve tuning for arrows there as well.
