Q:

Package from TalonTunes

I wanted to hand it to Tony.

Through a load of questions (and eventually intervention by Adam) I was finally able to place an order for stuff from TalonTunes

– Condor hammer
– .22 vented bushing
– .177 vented bushing
– Condor shroud

The shroud being the problem for me as I’ve discussed.

It all arrived on Fri, just before the weekend. My god, the shine of the bushing was nearly blinding. 🙂 The quality of the hammer is obvious, and the shroud is a thing of beauty.

I simply hadn’t expected it this quickly.

I’ll post a review when I get it all on (I just got the scope on and level, and the laser and bipod mounted, bought the wrong frigging mounts. Why does BKL (a division of Air Force) not actually make air gun dovetail mounts. BOGGLE.

Right now it looks scary sitting in its Pelican case. The case is long enough so that the air tank and the shroud will fit. I can slip the regulator in, some basic tools, second tank, a CO2 tank and be good to go.

One thing I think I have decided is that I’m going to figure out if a TalonTunes SS hammer is all I need to use air on an SS, and then use the air tank on my SS and buy spin lock tanks for the Condor.

But Tony, thanks for the major fast turnaround!

Lots and lots of postal labels….. Just for you 😀

I got my Wok stuff, perfect as usual.

With loads of postal labels, including one rather smartassed one with a comment and a smiley face.

If only he didn’t make such great stuff. 🙂

SWEET!

Lots of labels. Grrrr..

How can you call someone who is so talented and produces such cool stuff a bastard?

Oh, just did! 🙂

Thanks Adam, can’t wait.

odd. try a pair of BKL mounts. they compress from both sides. that should solve your problem.

These were BKL mounts.

freakin’wierd. only thing i can figure is your frame rail is undersize. did you get a trirail with your gun? or are you using one of Tony’s angled adapters?

I forgot my top rail has the same problem.

I put a strip of hard plastic sheet under the mount, that stuff most crap is packaged in these days, then tightened. This raises the mount making the clamp point tighter.

Odd that BKL mounts would not work though. The WILL clamp down considerably further than they were designed to fit.

I can’t find any dovetail. Just 3/8″ 11mm.

Not Talon friendly

3/8, 11mm. IS dovetail.

Not sure why none of them seem to fit my Condor then. All are loose and can’t be tightened enough to be useful.

Yea, the mount stuff is easy to get confused about.

I don’t know if this is what you need. But, they are handy to have around
for mounting standard Weaver mount type lights or a laser to the guns.

They do? Damn. I thought I had ordered that, but they were all Weaver adaptors.

So, I have lots of stuff for a weaver rail gun.

Time for a Marauder? 🙂

Congrats on the purchase. Tonys stuff is the bomb, you wont be disappointed.

Im a bit confused by your BKL comment though. They do make airgun mounts.
