Yes indeed, no 30-06 benjamin magazines out yet πŸ™

I don’t see a magizine. I guess that you have to single load those five shots?

BKL mounts

What mounts are you using?

Oldgoat,

I am sure you would make me a lowball offer that I just could not refuse IF I did not like the 4026. 😯

I have been heavily leaning to the 20x, personally I like my mills to read true at the max power of the scope, It’s just something I got used to. I actually prefer a 10x as the mirage effect is more manageable but with the size of the targets I will be going after being around 2″ or so along with the fact that the max range of an airgun is around 250 yards more or less. with most shots taken at 150 yards or less mirage really is not a serious factor. And the extra magnification for those 2″ agitated and erratically moving targets will be nice.

😈
I agree that the Hawke scopes are great this will be my second. My first was with the SR12 Reticle I ordered to check out but I did not care for that option at all. The chairgun program was quite accurate with it but the reticle is just not up to the job in my opinion particularly with smaller objects at 100+ yards. I had it on a highly custom 10/22 I built up to play with at 2 to 3 hundred yards on rodents 😈

It is interesting the 4026 seems sharper then the 4030 and it’s good to know that chairgun is accurate with it. My 4026 will be going on a R3 .25 long.

I have a program for my iPhone called MD Ballistics it is outstanding! I will be playing with it too see how it does in the PCP world.

Ghost

I have bought a few Hawke scopes. I’ve had 2, Hawke 4030 24X Tacticals and I think that the 20X version is sharper/clearer than the 24X version. The 4026 6.5-20 X 42 seems to match up better with Chairgun. I don’t like to use clicks, I like to hold over. At 24X, the HK 4030 gives you less mill dots hold over before you have to reduce magnification at longer ranges.

The Chairgun Iphone app is killer! I use it a lot. I really love the way that you can laser a target and then reduce the 4026’s mag down to match it for longer range. I have sold the 2, HK 4030 scopes and have 3 HK 4026 scopes on my 3 Edguns.

Hey Ghost, if you get a 4026 and don’t like it, PM me and I will do my best to low ball you a price on it! πŸ˜†

I need another 4026 for the R3 25 cal standard that is coming in. (Sooner or later!) πŸ˜₯

20x

Did you get the 20x or the 24x ?

I need to get one ordered for my R3 I should be getting my magic email soon.

I have yet to take pictures but I love this scope. It has crystal clear bright glass. I love the half mil dots. It’s now easier to hit targets at different ranges using them. Lots of MOA to play around with, I shimmed the rear mount anyways I usually do to get the full usage. At $324 shipped it was a steal. I’ll take some pictures in a bit.

DeutschKSK…

I have the Hawk HK4014, 8×32-56.

I admit, its overkill. The vendor was out of the 6×24 and the 6×20. But I do indeed like it very much. I was perfectly happy shooting with a cheap Centerpoint 6×24. But after looking through the Hawk, I now see how crummy the old Centerpoint was, I love the Hawk’s 1/2 mildot reticle and super fine crosshair lines.

If I were to get another one, it would just be the 6×20, or 6 x24. The only use for the 32x is when shooting at 150yard targets. I don’t need a spotting scope..its already on the gun.

balllistic…damn that Daystate is purdy!

But what the heck..its the best scope I have ever had…and I put it on the best airgun I ever had. So i’m done…a nice kit.

That Talon looks sweet!

With good reason ;)!

That Talon looks sweet!

Congrats! It’s a great scope perfect for air rifles. The 1/2 Mildot reticle is tough to beat. Combined with Chairgun for iOS, it’s a killer combo. Looking forward to your pics and review. Thanks to Ted in Madison and his videos for introducing me to this scope. I suspect Hawke has sold a lot of them thanks to him ;).
