Anyone know if Blodnob still does Airforce parts?

Just curious heard he was out of building parts?

The Airforce valve white delrin part finally failed after 1000’s of shots your valve body is perfect. 😀

I sold my .25 blod valve and a extra stem I had.

Wondering if u can help guys, I have a blodnob valve and the stem broke (another one again) wondering if u have a left over I could have?

Geez sorry I should have said machining from plans R&R is always the killer as you eluded to.

It’s easy to machine a valve. But there’s a lot more to it then just machining it.

I spent days at a time with nothing but tank dump. Then I would get it to shoot and change slug weight and dump again.

The worst was when I would think it was all fixed and call it a day. Pick it up the next day and go to fire it the same exact way and get tank dump. I have a lot time invested to get where I am right now and thousands of slugs shot through the chrony.

Thanks my contact makes helicopter parts on his CNCs so valves should be easy.

Yep. People want them and it’s not worth it for me to make them on my manual lathe. They will be .25 but it only takes a larger stem and to bore the piece larger where the stem goes to make it .308.

Thanks once we decide on works best his HAAS CNC machines will make this far less painfull then spinning them manually.

I have one of his 9mm valves that I machined the tophat down so I could try it on my .308. That disign doesn’t seem to work as good as the condor style. I never got more than 800 fps with 150 gr. I get 880 fps with 158 gr with condor style. The next stem I build should get me 950 fps with 158 gr.

Had some questions on what is best when it comes to building the valve plus I not seen any posts by him for quite awhile???
