How to change the top hat ?
How do I change the top hat . I want to replace my stock one with a one piece top hat .

VENT THE CYLINDER lol remove the valve, remove the top hat, remove the plastic retainer in the bottom of the valve, it all should the drop out, take off the plastic end on the stem, put the one piece stem in the valve, a bit fiddly put on the plastic end cap on, put spring back in the replace plastic retainer in bottom of valve, replace valve charge with air, listen for leaks I place valve in water to see any bubbles, when happy have fun.

that’s the hard way. all you have to do is leave the bottle pressureized, take a pair of wire snips, and gently pry the tophat up. it doesn’t take much to loosen the tophat. then all you have to do is push the new one in, put the tank back in the gun and dry fire it a couple of times to seat the new tophat. ( you may have to max out your power wheel to get the t.h. to seat ). it’s that easy. no muss, no fuss, no wasting air.
