I used to speed up ENJIN pellets at 300 m/sec that is a little more then 100 Joles?/75 ftlbf
I think you have me mistaken with someone else.

Yeah.
Sure.
We all know you stop by from time to time to see what’s happening.
Incidentally, the only time a guy hates to hear “Jesus love you” is when he’s in a South Texas prison.

Jr….only God the Father has that much cash on hand!
Pretty clever of you to use the forum name “jr”.
Are you arriving back early? Or is this just (I hope) a social call?

Thanks Jr.
I just watched my video again and I still think that I sound like a GOON on it!
I really need to redo it as I left out a few hints and I would also like to show a couple of easy to make special tools that help in removing the air pressure and keeping the HST screw locked.
If I do make another, I will ask WOK to make a sticky out of it and other guys with helpful Matador tips could add to it. There is a lot of info here and it can sometimes be hard to find, especially for the new guys.
JR, I think that most of the R3 25 longs come set at 880-900 fps and donβt need adjusted. Fortunately, the ones that shoot faster can easily be adjusted down.
Thank you OG!
You are the best
Yes perfect. Just need to wait π
or spend an outrageous amount….

Hi JR.
Do you mean something like this?

Search IS your friend! π
Hey OG,
Which ever year I could possibly get the R3 .25 long… π
is there somewhere to show me how to reduce the speed from the 1080 fps ?
Thanks,
JR – Ohio
I know that a R3 25 long will shoot 25.4 grain JSBs at 1080 fps. THAT is WAY to fast and the guy that has that gun gets 100 yard groups in the 2″-4″ range.
For a 50 yard hunting gun, those speeds and 1″-2″ groups might work but, Edguns aren’t about max power. You have to hit what you are shooting at first and then speed/fpe might become a factor.
The guy with the 1080 fps Matador is currently turning it down to the 880-890 fps range.
not 100% helpfull to you but …
since the .22 pellet will start to de-stabalise at 930 – 980 ish FPS around 32FTLB and bear in mind at 930 FPS a .25 will allready be well over 40 FT LB i would say your limit is the pellet ?
using the pyramid air conversion table ((http://www.pyramydair.com/article/What_is_Muzzle_Energy_August_2003/5))
and useing an 18 grain pellet at 930fps =32ft lb then adjusting the pellet weight to a typical.25 pellet should give you the resulting FT LB for the 25 ? rough ofc but close enuff
im sure some one will have a more accurate answer for you but its at least an answer of sorts for now π

Thanks Ed, I have been looking for a purely hunting pellet. Mostly going heavier. I admit that I have been looking more into the cast bullets and hope to start making my own. So I will not be breaking the 950 fps mark, just going heavier to keep in range.
