How much quieter does TalonTune’s Shroud make a 22 condor?
I’ve already spent the money and got the suppressor, but (for a variety of messed up reasons re washing it) I’ve not got it on the gun yet.
How much quieter can I expect the gun (it’s a 22 using air) to be?
A 22 Talon SS is about 108db.
Is the silencing mechanism the common m design?
Also curious if my vented 22 bushing would make a difference.

I should have added that I have one, but for a variety reasons, have yet to be able to install it. Someone is not being helpful at the house. Sigh.
I was curious how much quieter to expect, and clearly it is not something that is going to be an issue.
Now to just get the damn thing cleaned. Sigh

Tony sells different length shrouds. I didn’t want to add too much length to my Condor so I ordered an 8″ one. It fits perfectly over the last 1″ of the 18″ barrel that protrudes from the frame. It makes the gun MUCH quieter. Takes it from a short barreled .22 powder-burner sound level down to a little louder than my daughter’s Daisy Red Ryder. Best $180 I’ve spent on my Condor. :thumb:
I’ve got one of Tony’s 22 Condor shrouds and the report is essentially gone. The pellet makes more noise on impact. I don’t worry about the little sound of hammer slap because the pellet is what’s spooking prey if you miss.
For target shooting, your neighbors won’t hear the gun. It does add some length. It’s super easy to put on and take off, highly recommended. 😉
Ive got on of tony’s condords in .25 w/ his Shroud and IMHO i’d say 90% or better.
A TT shroud makes the condor silent but the hammer sound becomes more audible due to this. So its good to also get a hammer with slap mod and you are all set .
No LDC= have your girl friend put her lips next to your ear. Now pinch her nipple hard until she screams.

I have one and the loudest thing is the pellet hitting its target. It works great. You wont regret it.
108 seems a bit much for an SS.
I don’t even have a TT shroud…but I know Anthony makes quality stuff..You will LIKE IT!
Venting the bushing and FRAME..will knock off another DB or 2. It will help a little bit..not much, but a little bit.

I took mine off when I disassembled the gun. After putting everything back together I didn’t bother to put the shroud back on. After firing a shot from the back porch, I quickly remembered why I bought the thing. It was well worth the money and the pellet hitting the target is certainly the loudest part of any noise.
