Interesting!

Now what the Hell is “as i got a license to powderburners”. Are guns like dogs in CA><? Got to have a license to have a gun??? Or like a dog, the gun has to have a license? Strange place, CA! 😕

License, LICENSE??? Don't need no Stinking License! 😈

Ahahaha, you would think we’d need a license to have a gun out here in CA but the truth is we don’t!!! Amazing eh!?

Ten day wait on all firearms, assault weapon ban (no mags over 10 rounds and no scary looking stuff, pistol grip, flash suppressor, etc, without a bullet button) only restriction (if you can call it that) is a ten question safety quiz when buying a pistol. Oh and having to lock everything up if there are kids around. No CCW permits unless you gotz connections. 😉

Need a hunting license to hunt too… But that’s pretty common.

I did not see any o-ring in the valve body, how is sealed to prevent the air passing from the outside of stem?

License to sell? Buy? Carry???Hunt???

😯 😯 😯 😈 😈 😈

That thing is a beast of a valve. I have wondered if the AF design can handle that kind of power soooooooooooooo when will you attempt accuracy testing? Nice work!

i did hollow out an AF valve body, and made thick stems…never got much further than 200 fpe in 308, and in 457 i think i made it to 300 fpe…problem is theres no room for a return spring so i had to rely on the pressure to close the valve…a friend of mine talked to big bore bob, and he suggested that the valvestem extend into the bottle…for more sideways airflow…once i went down that path i could make a .22 go sonic easy with 42 grain EJ’s….308 i never really tried ….but all of a sudden the .457 started to make a lot of power…and the beauty of it was it would shoot roundball and be effecient…and heavy slugs and really put some air behind it…with no change other than ammo

another benefit was the valveseat etc got easier to make seal tight

sold the kit to waltinhawaii…as i got a license to powderburners…

for now airguns are for small stuff, quiet pesting etc….

i did try 3500 psi, and a 500 grain slug and made 601 fpe

now the backstop if your wondering is a 1/4″ steel 2’x2′ , with 10 layers of carpet to catch dust and richoshets, secured for 8 bolts to the 2×4 pieces of wood…it is HEAVY, yet that rifle made it swing like a leaf in a summer breeze LOL

as for accuracy it never got really good …the AF platform is too buttheavy, and would require a very heavy muzzle brake to tame that best (if at all possible)

Awesome!!!!

Amfookinmazing…
