Ed we need r3s for x-mas please. 🙁

This has been addressed several times.

Given the vast number of R3’s on order, Ed has advised that other models production are very likely to be given a lower production priority.

I believe this will resolve when his Estonia plant catches up with the backorders.

Like the ‘Goat said, it will happen when it happens.

Ed, will there be any lelya’s in this shipment ? Ive been on the list for a year waiting patiently. Just wondering if santa will deliver this year ive been really good!

Hey 1Oldguy2, thanks for the compliment!

Yogi said a lot of things that when first heard sounded like he was unintelligent, uneducated, a moron or, at best, someone just being flustered during an interview. I think that the media tried to trap him into some of his famous replies also.

There is probably a book published on his life that includes his quotes. I would like to read it.

Almost all of his famous quoted replies look/sound funny at first but, most of them make a whole lot of sense after giving them a little thought. In this 24/7 news bits world, I don’t think that most people ever bother to take the time to just set back and really think about what they have just heard. Doing that would take some effort!

Everybody’s favorite Yogi quote is: It ain’t over till it’s over!

How can you argue with that?

Excuse me; this post has absolutely nothing to do with Edguns and I now return this topic back to where it was before I just posted!

Hey “Oldgoat” like your quote “It will get here when it does” your are right up there with Yogi Berra… 😀 and that’s some good company.

I’m on the R3 list and have whinned some but completely agree with with you over what Tony must have to put up with. Cut the man some slack. The December news is great just hope I’m far enough up the list to get an e-mail… 😆

I really hate to admit this but, I agree with HOOT! 😯 😆

I can not imagine the calls, emails and PMs that Tony gets each day!

I probably get at least 20 emails and PMs each week about Matadors and I am not selling them.

I have had a R3 25 cal standard ordered for 13 months. I don’t think that I have sent Tony one email (unless I sent one late at night after too many beers that I don’t remember sending) asking when he expects to get them in.

It will get here when it does!

I am sure that Tony would get shipments in every month or two if he could!

Guys…..

Let’s pretend we are Toshik for one day.

He has no control over when the Edguns arrive, except to try to keep the list straight with new additions, cancellations, changes, etc.

Meanwhile, there are people who pester him about the problems, wait. and frustration, and they can do so seven days a week by forum posts, phone calls, letters, emails, PM’s, etc….

On top of that, he has been cheated out of at least one Paypal transaction for a Matador. Out of his pocket.

Cut the man a little slack. There are cultural differences at play here, and not all his contacts are pleasant. I don’t blame him for keeping a low profile. It has to be a frustrating job he has.

How do I know all this…..because I’m one of the people who has given him grief in the past. Everyone has their limit, and we have to give the guy a little breathing room. With few exceptions, he has done the best he can, at least in my dealings with him.

Regards….you ungrateful retards,

H 😯 😯 T

PS: Back out one click and check out the first post on this forum “Edgun Tony wants to know” It explains a lot of what I said above. Other countries do business a bit different. By comparison, this forum is the Wild West…not much is censored, we get away with some pretty rough language and remarks here.

PS PS: (Tony, you did say “free” didn’t you??? Don’t make me edit my post. Yuk yuk yuk!!!)

I don’t either……. 🙄

Would you please elaborate a little ???

Hey Mark, I lost your mobile phone number when I got my Iphone 5. Please call me!

I hear you about loving bull pups! Ed has ruined me! FX increased the width of the dove tail mounts on the Boss and my Royale bull pup scope rail setup won’t work until I can get on a mill and open up what I currently have. I hope to have that done Friday. Everything else looks like it will work.

Once I get it up and running, it will turn a 48” long, long, long air gun into a 35” short bull pup!

Air is no problem, I have 2 fire houses within 10 blocks from me that fill my 2 SCBA tanks for free and I have had a Shoebox for around a year that I have been too lazy to hook up and use. I need to order all of the upgraded Shoebox parts and get the damn thing going. With filling to just 230 bar, the Boss is an air hog!

When/if I get it set up to shoot .257” cast bullets, it will be even worse.

Mark; if you ever decide to part your 25 cal Elite out, I want first dibs on the bolt!

When my R3 25 standard comes in, I really think that I would be happy with 3 air guns. My R3 25 standard for a truck gun; my R3 25 long for long range hunting and something else to play with.

If Ed or Tony would PM or email me asking me to be a beta tester for the 9mm Matador, the Boss would be up for sale tomorrow!

HINT HINT! 😆

…..Well…I am with OG….Since I requested to be on the R3 list….Well I will just say …. A REALLY LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago!!! OVER 18 Months ago…MAY BE I WILL ACTUALLY GET THE EMAIL……One can only hope…..

While waiting for R3’s…..
Royale 400…….USFT……FX Elite…..FX BOSS……and MAY BE R3 ????????
(Finally I will be able to pick my Favorite 3…may 4….and be done!!!)

ONCE YOU GO BULLPUP……..Why Do they make airguns any other way!!!!!!

HEY ….TED…..Fill that sucker UP !!!!!! Leyla 240 bar…..Daystate Airwolf 240+….FX’s….yup… it will be fine.(I think i did a 250 BAR fill… It just gives you more shots) The Only difficult part is Keeping a 250 Bar Source…..(3625 psi)

I`ve never been a big FX fan but never owned one either.Thought they
were pretty expensive.Wasn`t sure about ST barrels but seeing
Harry`s results w/ Elite and how well they did at the Extreme BR match
and some of the advantages you mentioned I see why you bought one.
Looking forward to see this when your done.Good luck, mark

Hi Mark. After reading all of the Wolverine hype, I thought that I would buy one, put a .257” Hart center fire barrel on it, shoot cast bullets out of the Hart barrel and make a bull pup out of it. The initial hype had the Wolverine getting “at least” 20 regulated shots at 1000 fps with a 50 grain pellet. It turned out to get 15 semi regulated shots with a bell curve that was too large for me.

FX really blindsided me with the Boss! Mine gets around 30 regulated shots filling the gun to 230 bar. It can be filled up to 250 bar and I have tried to fill it that high but, I keep chickening out at 230! I have never filled a gun that high and I am kind of leery doing so.

When I got the Boss, I unpacked it in the back of my pickup truck and just had to shoot a pellet and see how quiet it was. It isn’t too bad but, it isn’t as neighbor friendly as my Matadors. The weather was really crappy so, I took the gun inside and tore it down for an inspection; of course! 😯 AOA told me that if I took it apart, I would lose my warrantee. Warrantee? We don’t need no stinking warrantee! 😆

I bought the gun with the intension of putting the .257” barrel on it and making a bull pup out of it. I have no interest in shooting 30 cal pellets and wasn’t even going to order any with the gun. I ended up ordering 5 tins just to make sure the gun worked and to play around a little. I think that cast bullets are the future, accuracy wise, in high powered air guns. I hope that the Boss has enough “headroom” in the regulator and hammer spring to allow me to shoot 45-55 grain cast bullets at 900 fps or higher and get around 20 regulated shots while doing so.

I took the Boss out shooting Tuesday, sighted it in at 50 yards and shot around 20, 100 yard groups. I only got 2, 0 .9” groups and the gun probably averaged 1 ¼” groups overall. I tried shooting it out of my gun vise that I made to fit my Matadors. The Boss didn’t fit it very well at all and wasn’t very steady. I had to put a piece of 2 X 4 under the hand grip and sit on 2 layers of 2 X 4s plus a rolled up sweatshirt just to get the gun on target and see thru the scope.

While I was shooting it, I was thinking how long and awkward the gun was and how much easier it would be to shoot if it were a bull pup so, it is on my workbench right now having the bull pup parts from my 22 cal Royale fitted. I hope to have it done tonight and to be able to shoot it over the holidays. I am waiting on my casting stuff and another Hart barrel to get here and I will have to settle with shooting 30 cal pellets for now.

I am waiting for my R3 25 standard to come, got bored and ordered the Boss and now Tony says that he expects a shipment in December. The same thing happened when I ordered my 22 Royale. I was waiting for my R2.5 25 cal long to come in, got bored, ordered the Royale and then the 25 long came in and the Royale sat unfinished for a couple of years.

I guess that I better hurry up on the Boss. 😆

Tony, thanks for responding.I know you don`t control arrival of guns
but its nice to here something every few months.I don`t understand
your reference to forum situation? Regards, mark
