Just got the email from Tony for the rifle I put in for back in November of 2011… I’d expect many of those on the list will be receiving emails soon.

DWM— As far as i know the difference in the 2.5 vrs the 3 is the way the barrel is attachted to the reciever, the 2.5 is held on with set screws and needs to be pushed back and lined up correctly, the 3 is threaded and tightened up via a nut and wrench. I am not sure but I thought I did see where Ed had done something with the trigger linkage on the 3 also but not sure about that. Other than that they are the same 😯
Baffles as far as I know are the same but not sure on that.
Can someone tell me the difference, other than the R3 is newer. I assume that Ted’s old videos show a 2.5. And, is the R3 quieter than the R2.5?

Hi guys I’m Bobby and I’m new to the forum , but have have peeking over the hedges for some time and have learned a lot about the Edgun 2.5. I have a .22 cal R2.5 and have been waiting on the .25 R3 long. I have a numbnuts question and this is it, (does Tony give you guys a number to indicate your place in line or order to receive a particular type and caliber of bullpup)? If this question has been asked before I apologize but I was just wondering. I’m just trying figure out if I could possibly be in the R3 lottery in the next few weeks.
Yep, 15 months. I have a 25 long R3 already.
When the 25 standard comes in, I will sell my R2.5 22 standard.
I like the 25 cal a lot better than the 22.
15 months?? You’ve been really waiting that long? Is it because it is a .25 long? Are those in higher demand than .25 standard? Who knows…you never can tell I guess. I asked to be on the list for the .25…… an length, standard, short, mini, long or whatever!! Its been a year if not more…. still waiting!
Great news ED, I was woundering if there will ever come a time when a person can just email tony and get a rifle in a week or so. is the U.S.A. market that demanding or are the amount of edguns being shipped in small in quantities? just woundering , cause im the only guy i know who is in to pellet rifles ,my friends think im crazy.
On the other hand we made twise as much guns in 2012 then in 2011 and I do hope to double it in 2013, so you will have enough guns, remember the next delivery will be in February 🙂

Im also waiting for a leyla, just a bit over a year now .I emailed tony a couple of weeks ago to see if there is any update but haven’t heard anything yet. I’m sure if he knew anything he would let us know. Ive got my fingers crossed. 😀

Back in November 2011 I ordered a .25 long and a .22 standard. I received the .25 long in April of 2012. Tony emailed me yesterday to let me know the .22 standard was in; I indicated that having shot the .25 now for almost a year I really prefer the .25 over the .22 and was thinking of skipping the shipment. He said there was one .25 standard left that was not spoken for in this shipment so I changed my order to a .25 standard. 😀
