Q:

Need help with a 9mm kit for a fellow airgunnner

I have a fellow airgunner that paid for a 9mm conversion kit from over the Pond and never ever heard back from the guy.

So now he has a 9mm LW barrel, a Condor and no valve!

I reached out here had a few offers but my friend is not interested in spending anymore money after ending up with no kit and no responses to his emails.

Another good friend of mine has a full CNC shop, has a Condor, and is willing to help out a fellow airgunner.

I have tried reaching out here for parts so we can do testing over the Winter and provide ideas for our Forum Members but my emails have remained unanswered don’t know why as I am not in competition.

So what I like people to understand is my buddy has a business already that pays his bills this project is not there to take from anyone but a means to draw on 200k in machinery and years of experience while being a hobby to him.

Any design ideas for a 9mm kit including breech, valve, would be appreciated as I have only reached out here to fellow airgunners and nowhere else.

This fellow airgunner is unwilling to spend anymore money as he is not trusting many airgunners after being directed to this offshore tuner in the first place but my buddy is willing to invest time and material in order to help us all out.

Thanks in advance and sorry guys if I sound a bit off I am just feeling a bit frustrated here as a fellow airgunner has had a bad experience here.

So the parts from Sean in the UK should be here shortly as he just was finishing the hammer spring, any suggestions in what type of pellets I should try with the 9mm LW unchoked barrel?

Getting pretty excited and have my buddy lined up to make the bushings and machine the barrel to match Sean’s parts.

Thanks
Randy

Here’s an update to the 9mm build using Sean’s 9mm kit.

A few pictures:

Just waiting on the hammer and hammer spring now. I have my buddy waiting on the valve/tophat so he can machine up the barrel and spin some bushings so once I get these parts the project will be finished.

We have a local Airgun Meet next month so need to get going on this.

Thanks
Randy

Thanks Walter looking forward to shooting it. 🙂

Il bring bullets
Go ahead and order those pells 🙂
Will get the Vulture fired up for that day eh!

Hopefully Sean will have the parts shipped shortly as he sent some pictures he just needed the hammer spring.

I will update everyone once he provides the next update on when the parts will be shipped.

Thanks
Walter

PS it would be nice to have the kit together for the March 30th shoot holding off on ordering 9mm pellets until I get a firmer date.

Randy

Looking forward to shooting your rig Randy! 🙂

Al post pics of full kit soon as its done.
Later dude.

Bump, just curious how things are going as I need to let my buddy know so he can make some time to machine the 9mm barrel and I need to order some pellets.

Thanks very much for the update really excited about seeing your work and doing some testing. 🙂

Once I heard both sides, correcting my comments was the very least I could do.

Thanks again.

Randy

Just wondering how the machining is going?

Let me know when you need my address.

Thanks

All machining is done Randy.
Stem has 4×1/8″ ports n a 7mm bore.
Just got to O ring groove the breach.
Made that out of delrin for better friction.
All looking good so far.
Strugglin for a valve spring at mo’. Lost a full bag of um.

Here are some pictures of a 9mm blodnob valve.

PS:
The edit has been noticed and is appreciated
😉
Thanks.

Not egzakly dude.
Soon as i saw the name n a few words from the emails i immediatley recognised the job.
It was actually posted. But its obviousley never arrived.
But the result is the same.
He paid for a job he never got. But i never insured it, and when the bobby’s last knocked on me door i burned all post office reciepts.
Thats why it never registerd as “job not done” in my mind.
As far as i knew it had landed.
But its gettin put right now so all’s well that ends well eh’ ?
I’ll try n put pics up now.
Valve bodys done, stems screw cut each end n polished.
Anyhoo, later dood.
Sean.
