Time to look at another one: "TAIPAN" of Ukraine

Another Bullpup from Eastern Europe. Ukraine (UA) this time and not USA as som joker has put on this gun:

Having read almost all I could find on various forums, it seems we’re looking at an Edgun/Cricket clone of some sort. At least from the outside. It has developed from a bolt action as in the above image to a side lever like Cricket and friends.

It seems the Taipan has some added benefits among which are a safety catch, a mag release button, in my view a better trigger mechanism (never tried it though) and a “blank” in the mag to tell you when it needs to be refilled.

The Taipan is being discussed on various forums on the other side of the pond and apparently serves as an alternative for those who can get one…… 😉
